I'll be taking an extended, posibly permanent Eve break. I'll probably ***** the forums from time to time, but it looks like i'm out.
i'll be on Saga of Ryzom methinks. the combat system looks very interesting, and the community seems amazingly friendly. I suspect a scam...
Anyway, only ran into a few of ya in-game, and a **** ton on the forums.
I represent only my own views, they just happen to be the right ones. |

Everything's been done. i don't feel like there's any ZOMGWTF thing i can do that hasn't already been done. the things i had planned have been consistently impossible to do, because someone already did them, someone whined, and thus it was made impossible.
there's nothing left worth doing.
oh that and this game is like playing in an asylum for the homicidally insane, where all the guards do is make sure people only kill each other in a couple of places. there's no rhyme or reason to the violence. 0.0 is frankly for the birds. I've only met one corp in 0.0 that i consistently enjoyed dealing with.
and last but not least, the customer support in eve is a JOKE. seriously. i've tried 3 separate times to get one very simple issue resolved and had the buck passed several times, this might very well just be the burnt-outedness talking, but i'm frankly unhappy that i wasted the time/money to even get into the game. now I know full well that i might very well be back, hence i'm just taking a month's break to start. but if i come back in a month and find myself still unhappy with the game, then off i go.
have fun those of you who do, find something better those of you who don't, and anyone interested in coming over to Ryzom with me shoot me an Evemail(my account's still going to be active this month)
it's kinda funny too, because a bunch of my RL friends started up not too long ago as well. unfortunately my friends are all in shifts, as one group wakes up, the next is going to sleep/work, so it's impossible for us all to be on at once.
and as i'm leaving for a bit and will be out of my corp tomorrow, i want to say this:
Mr Xtreme, ender hawkins, you're both asshats. anyone who actually uses "badass mofos" in any semblance of a serious sense is a moron.
anyhoo, tiller i'll send you the 4 mil isk i haven't yet given away, and if anyone wants the absurd amount of scordite i have all over Lonetrek, let me know(part of a failed experiment)\
and sorry zwerg, tiller aked first...

I do agree with a number of things you said but personally i feel the game still offers a lot.
Hopefully you'll find something else that takes your fancy

DKI will take an absurd amount of scordite! And should you ever come back there is always a place for you here (we have officers and some semblance of order nowąthoughąnot much.) 
(psąScordite is cuz my younger members are broke and I give them frigs!...I am by no means a carebearąsoąShut it)
