First of all, my apologies if posted in the wrong forum, but this seems to be the place each and all CCP employees check at least once every day. Why do I want all CCP employees to read this?
Couple of reasons:
1. All the allegation stuff going on (which will sadly continue unless something drastic happens).
2. Take this opportunity and get yourself an art director and the best and most respected community manager in the industry (no disrespect meant to Kieron or Wrangler).
3. I loved the herald, I loved the player stats (group awarded kills so support gets their recognation for taking part and deathblow credit where due, loved their communications style (add CCP dev blogs into the mix and you've got the ultimate winner).
4. Something big needs to be done in order to regain the trust of the community.

Know that this post is made with all the best intentions (yes I fear the banzor stick, which tells me personally something about the current trust relationship between me personally and CCP, sorry).

you want to summarize for us ? all i see is an interview to some dumb random person and the one part that i think you might be referring to us that she always told the truth - wich is really just hearsay as you dont really know the truth so please go where the grass is greener - youll be back

Nah, not going anywhere, not meant as a whine either, it's someone who would make an awesome addition to CCP's staff for the benefit of both CCP and the playerbase.
To summarize;
Sanya Thomas (now Wheather) is one of the first community managers in the business who fought both sides of the fence at the same time; i.e. translating stuff to the player base and vica versa. She gave the player base PvP statistics (see: my character stats) and real time war maps, a weekly FAQ (which was there every friday) and pure community pages, and a teamlead program (specific class specialist outlining issues with specific classes). Whilst remaining honest and truthfull even in times where cheats and exploits caused drama (me shudders at the thought of the Radar drama). In this interview she shares her views and takes on the job she did for nearly 6 years.
She doesn't say why she quit, so the following is pure conjecture on my part, but I wouldnt be surprised if it turned out that she was asked to lie or couldn't take the internal response on a certain high level issue with the current player base she tried to advocate. Mythic is changing after it had been taken over and she said that when the day came she felt EA was obstructing things she would quit her position or it might be a combination of the three.

Also, turns out my old guild is still somewhat active.. although we used to have about 200 members... but that was four years ago.

Sounds like she was doing a really good job there.

My old guild is still active as well, I co-founded that guild and I'm glad to see that the GM I handed the guild over to is still running it and active.

When EA took over Mythic she said that she would leave whenever EA would turn things sour, but she was confident that wouldn't happen. Sounds like it did happen and she kept her word imho.
