Not while I've been present in system, at least. There was a period of about 40 minutes where some [PMAS] players were 40-60km from the station in shuttles so they could watch a possible fight but, as expected, the two [OMEGA] pilots just sat at their safespot like they had done all day. I do believe the whole idea of castor was to make frigates more viable. We're just playing the game how it was meant to be played. Its kinda cool though the cost/loss ratio of our friggy squads. About 10-20 friggies lost= 2-4mil, amount of ark destroyed+clone costs+indies+rare cargo expanders from CA = almost 1 billion. hehe. Its not lame, its part of the game -Aj- WTB: Large faction smartbomb with good range. Top isk paid.

This game means to emulate many factors of real life, and one thing it does emulate is war and the morals behind them. In this game, the struggle between the Amarr and the Minmatar sometimes goes violent when Minmatar "Rebels" attack the Amarr, civillian collateral damage incurs and they are lambasted for it. What Homo was doing was pointing out, that in war, in real life war, Armies have long hid their weapons factories and Armies in Urban areas to protect them, the idea behind that is that your enemy wont use large area of effect weapons such as bombs to attack you because they would be killing innocents, much like in WWII, Bosnia, The First Gulf War and the Second Gulf War. And that above piece of history does translate into this game; you arent allowed to attack and kill innocents without reprecussions in empire controlled space. So if someone was to have civillians fly around their ships, even though a Corporation has a legitimate war with you, they cannot cause the innocents any harm as they are not at war with them, if they do cause harm, CONCORD will take action against their illegal activities. All Homo was doing was showing a parallel between the rules in Eve and the moral rules in Life. Black Omega Security have, rightly or wrongly, posted worries about an exploit on the official forum so let's keep it on topic. I spoke to ThorTheGreat in Kasi earlier and he told me about the incident. Apparently a [PMAS] shuttle was very close to N'Fran D'Larn's Megathron while ThorTheGreat was engaging him. This meant ThorTheGreat was unable to use missiles but, according to my corp. mates, an EV blackbird warped in and target-jammed Thor anyway so it didn't change the outcome of the battle to any real effect. I've yet to speak to the [PMAS] player involved but I doubt there was any prior agreement between ourselves and [PMAS] to offer "protection" in the accused form - I logged on shortly after this incident and did notice they were outside our home station in that system but when I questioned them about it they merely expressed an interested in watching a fight. Their positions at the time were all at least 30km from my position in space. Thor did mention TIvian posted without the full knowledge of the situation so I'll forgive him his rash accusations of "exploit" and insults about my bravery in battle. If any of our war enemies have issues about the way we engage battle or have any accusations to fling, please feel free to keep posting this crap. Everlasting Vendetta prides itself on playing hard but fair and we do not worry about such accusations. LEEEEERRRRRRRRRRROOOOOOOOOYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!
