I'm having issue trying to fit the Capital SAA into my fenrir (don't even know if 900,000m^3 will ever fit into a fenrir). Was hoping to drop one or more CSAA's into one of the POS's I have already setup on sisi with the "armageddon day" skills using a charon, but may not have the ability to be online by the time I reach the front of the queue. Was going to attempt moving the materials and getting the build jobs started today, but don't think the server player limit & my schedule will co-operate w. this plan. Can I request some help with getting the POS modules & build job setup? The test pos's are already built and online. Have been working on testing the POS gunnery, with this as a side project. Thanks for any assistance you can offer with this.

I had 3 motherships on build in D4R-H7 2x Wyvern's and 1x Hel @ planet 5 moon 1 and 1x Nyx @ planet 7 moon 1 due to complete Saturday 24th November 2007 (unsure of the exact time). This mirror has obviously screwed that up and unfortunatly I have no screen shots to prove. Will I still be eligable for this offer? _______________________________ [ 2007.06.07 21:07:22 ] FrankyWave > ransom me guys I am joining XElas !!! |

"DOOMSDAY TESTING PLAYER CORP" does not exist? The only member of DOOMSDAY TESTING ALLIANCE is 'Doomsday Testing Holding Corp'.
I'm sure glad QA tested this idea before posting it .

I will create the Doomsday Testing Player Corp tomorrow. Due to Singularity's issues over the weekend I was unable to do so earlier. Of course, I could rethink the entire project and find some better things to do with my time, Mr. Sarcastic.

Doomsday Testing Player Corp now exists and is part of the Doomsday Testing Alliance. Level 3 sovereignty has been claimed in the Yrton constellation and four outposts have been deployed in the same constellation. They are not market seeded yet.

I feel compelled to remind you that access to the test servers is a privilege, not a right. Our customers do not pay for this privilege. There is nothing in the EULA, ToS or other official agreements that binds CCP employees to offer customer or player support on the test servers. Which, as it happens, are not a playground for players, their primary purpose is to serve as a test environment for CCP.
But you are certainly right, a much better way to show our customers that I care would be to dedicate all this time I am wasting on assisting players on the test server to do more work for the betterment of the game. There are enough issues that need investigating after all.

Many people forget the true purpose of the test server, best advice to give is to, well, do what your doing and remind them what its there for

What a belligerent set of replies. "Mr Sarcastic?" Since you are the one to cite the EULA and ToS, here's the closest it gets to warrant anything to players:
While CCP attempts to have the System available at most times, CCP does not guarantee that the System will always be available
Frankly, citing documents that the only thing that do is serve as a shield for CCP does not do any good in this case. A collection of user obligations, with lovely gems such as:
CCP reserves the right to close, temporarily or permanently, any userĘs account without advance notice as we deem necessary. Furthermore, we reserve the right to delete all user accounts or inventory of characters as warranted.
We reserve the right to ban any user from the game without refund or compensation.
And, to conclude, I'd like to quote another piece of the EULA:
You may play EVE using CCP's proprietary software (the "Software") that allows you to log into CCP's computer system (the "System") online and interact within the game environment created by CCP.
You will notice that in no place theres either tranquility or sisi mentioned. So please, no more cute remarks or bringing up the legal crap which is only there for CCP and does nothing for the user except tell them they have no warranties. Thanks for reminding me.

how about stop *****ing at Oneiro? She's doing her job, and taking time out of her schedule to set things up for players on a server that for all intensive purposes should only be used by bug hunters and CCP (hence the "test" server). Be happy you're allowed on singularity and shut up.

I was not citing anything, simply reminding people that access to the test server is a bonus we chose to offer our customers. Not guaranteed in any way. Furthermore, the facilities I offer for testing certain issues are complementary. The initial precisation was to prevent people complaining about the discontinuity of the service should I become too busy to dedicate my *free time* to it. Attempting to bully me into guaranteeing said complementary service by accusing me that I don't care about our customers and citing things out of context is much less likely to make me become more helpful and more likely to irritate me and cause me to discontinue any previous player support on the test server, such as reactivating accounts and the very subject of this thread.

I for one would like to apologize for this fellow subscribers ignorance of the special case that singularity is and hope you IGNORE them. The rest of the communuity appreciate that the test server is a gift from CCP.
Trishan, you pay for access to TRANQUILITY, if singularity was removed from public access you would have no grounds to argue and its IDIOTS like you who would make developers feel like its not worth keeping it up. Take your trolling complaints somewhere else. ---------------------------------

not to be a ***** about it, but actually the players are doing CCP's WORK, so ccp can deliver what WE pay for... so it is a FREE service that the players give CCP.. not the other way around.
CCP's job is to make sure everything is functioning as CCP wanted it to, and the players do CCP a service by testing this out for CCP, and CCP don't even need to PAY the testers...
soo all in all i would say it is a privilege that CCP have such a extremely good testing community..
and for your last thing, yes it would properly be more constructive, but personally i think that it is a very important thing ccp is doing and i hope you will keep it up, but as we appreciate you for your will to do it, so should you show some appreciation for what free "work" the player base provide ccp with.
peace out I declare war on stupidity |

Seems that selfish posters "won" the round by having Oneiro disgusted of offering help on these - or maybe it has been done elsewere i'm not aware of.
It's surprising how people's IQ could drop when they pay for something. Guess these are the same who could ask for a fresh made coffee at highway tolls.

Afaik, Oneiro did go through with making the DTA (Doomsday Testing Alliance) again, but with it being a new mirror just last week, I don't think its been put back up yet (or I haven't seen the usual office in top station of FD-MLJ where it should be)
Also, I think you just apply to the corp, and you get accepted automatically or something...and gain access to some high sovereignty space to build stuff, heh.

The alliance is set up and there are four outposts in Yrton, with various levels of sovereignty. However, this was set up as test environment mainly, so there is no market seeding or full constellation sovereignty. As this is going to be a "short" mirror I'd advise against starting any supercapital build jobs, though.
