Hi,
I was just wondering if there's an advantage in eve to specialising in frigates, destroyers, or any of those other ship types that you have access to early on in your skill points career?
Or is it pretty much true that once you get BC, you're best using that, and keep moving up in terms of what you can fly? ie, will I ever want to use a frigate again now that I've moved on? If so, what for?

their t2 counterparts are fun. ie. inteceptors, and interdictors.

PvP gangs always need ceptors and they always need dictors (in 0.0). As far as PvE goes, bigger is pretty much better.

Pretty much what he said. If you don't want to pvp you won't be using those small ships much or at all later.

Few things make a battleship pilot swear louder than a swarm of ceptors and assault friggies slowly chewing him apart and he can't land a single hit on the damn things.
For that exact reason, I always pack med/light drones on my mega, rather than 5 ogres. Saved me more than once.

In wars frigates are indispensible. If you're losing a ship every night in blob battles, you want them to cost 100k not 100M isk. Other than that, nope you won't use them :)
Destroyers have yet to have a useful role besides maybe salvaging barges. They're supposed to be frigate killers and they're pretty fun to fly but there's always a better ship around to do it in.

Drones can be annoying and Destroyers can get rid of them fast, huge asset if they arent noticed very quickly.
