Hello,
I can get into map view. I can not zoom in/out, can not rotate map, can not search. I can set destinations from Market, but I do not see the destination or systems I will travel through in the map nor when I travel in space. Auto-pilot seems to work.
Any help would be appreciated.

So, with above issue. The map works fine on my other characters. Just one character, the map is not working...

Yeah, I got the same problem too. No idea, I have tried a lot of different things to try and fix it but get nothing. Everything says it is 214******** jumps away and cannot set any auto pilot destination.

Same problem here.
I got it working by uninstalling EVE client, restarting machine, and reinstalling the client again.
But over time the problem reoccurs, I've reinstalled the client 4 times so far.
I am just trying to see what's triggering it.

same problem here for me too. i had to re-install my game also. looks like eve support couldnt give a damn either, they didnt answer my petition on this.

I have this issue too - as temp fix, I delete the cache folder and restart eve. I lose all my settings but eve works okay for a while and then problem reoccurs.
I have submitted a bug report and had a reply stating this is a known issue that will be fixed soon.....

Just wanted to add my 2 cents here, as I had the same problem and couldn't even autopilot home due to it. Problem has lasted for 1 1/2 days with only a curt reply from ccp that didn't resolve the issue. Uninstalled and am downloading again. Hope they get the message that stuff like this is really demoralizing, and a demoralized player won't be one for too long.

I am having the same problem. My other character works fine.
This bug not only locks up and the map, excludes the map options box, and prohibits my normal viewing of my system, when I warp somewhere, the "tunnel" instantly appears and is extremely annoying.
Anyone have any luck fixing this? I've cleared cache, reinstalled..... nothing has worked. It almost seems server-side since my other character is having no problems whatsoever on the same machine.

I've had the same problem, and as far as I remember, solved it by a combination of docking and undocking while opening the map, docking then trying to open the map seems to clear it. hopefully that will help.
