So now when its summer im basically not playing eve online until september so during this period what skills whould you recommend me to grind down im currently a minmatar pilot at BattleCruisers so im thinking grinding minmatar cruisers up to lvl 5 followed by battlecruisers to lvl 5. Is there any lvl 5 skills that you guys feel are especially appropriate for the summer? and yes i already have beach hunk lvl 5.

Weapons Upgrades/Advanced Weapons Upgrades both to 5 will make fitting a lot easier.

crusier 5, bc 5, and bs 5 will take about 3 months. perfect :p there are also cap skills, speed skills, armor/hull skills, and targeting skills that will all make your ships better.
although you can always do the turret skills to 5, assuming you already have medium 3 or 4.
that and i would imagine you will play at least enough to do a few level 1-2 skills

My priorities for offline skill training are: 1. Absolute necessity. 2. Time. 3. Relative necessity.

Depending on your skillpoint level and so on. - Racial cruiser, battleship 5 - Large <gun of your chooice> specialization 5 - Missile, Torpedo specialization 5 - Advanced <thingy that you like> 5 - AF 5 - HAC 5 - Command ships 5 - Recon ships 5 - Capital ships 5 So basicaly one of those things you would not ever train in your right mind when you are able to ge to a computer with EVE and change your skills at a regular interval.
There is nothing more wonderful then spending some time getting on a beach surounded by friends and very sexy "new" friends of the oposite sex having a few drinks and knowing that when you turn in to a geek again you will WTF PWN all your corp mates.

The best idea that I've heard is both advanced weapon upgrades 5, weapon upgrades 5, and then after that, go for your crusier and battlecrusier 5s, that is if you ARE going for Command Ships.

Added to the Cruiser, BC and BS to 5, I would also get the shield and armour skills that increase shield and armour (names elude me, sorry) to 5, and ditto that with capacitor capacity. -- 2d EveMaps |

Another good idea would be the shield/armour compensation skills to IV or V (only shield OR armour, depending on what you tank) then when you come back no one can WTFPWN you and fitting EANM's means that you WTFTANKPWN

I would say max out one area of your game. So like large turrent or missles 5 and battleship 5 etc. basically, use the time to become elite in one ship in the game.

bah, just whatever high-length, high rank skills you 'want but have no patience to train normally'... I'd also suggest a +4 /+5 clone for training while away... the +4 clone isn't that much (maybe 180 or so mill?) and makes the higher ranks go a bit easier..
Just remember to swap to your regular clone before you go back to new-and-improved pew-pew ;P
Personally, I'm setting my sights on advanced beer swilling during my time off... maybe some 'exotic dancer' retraining, depending on how much beer swilling gets trained...
have a good summer

good plan to work up for the CS, but remember that everyone Else is skilling up for it as fast as possible. consider buying one Now, as prices can be expected to keep going up for a good long time.
if you can afford it, heck, buy a couple? (make sure your wallet wont be running on empty though) speculation should pay off when you come back? (Or invention will become better and there will be a massive crash.. the risk of speculation)
