The CFS has shown an inability to be honest with its partners. Whilst demanding assistance on the one hand it was plotting to remove access or demand illegal tolls on the same people with the other.
Regardless of any CFS commentary this is not how partners should be treated, but it is an attitude endemic within the CFS. Their isolationist stand completely disregards the realities of EVE life and their ever-smaller Alliance still seeks to control the largest number of unclaimed star systems for themselves.
As we have seen the CFS is prepared to draft secret bills to remove the entire concept of Free Space. It demands it be the only builders, even the only placers of mobile structures and it ignores any other organisation, corporation or individual who is not willing to submit exclusively to its own means of government any chance of a realistic future in the hundreds of systems it "claims" to protect.
Free Space is dead.
Furthermore we have seen the fatally flawed management of membership and voting rights within the CFS clearly exposed. Senators are representing themselves, they have no corps left to represent. Others represent one or two members whose real existence is not in the space the CFS claims, but is firmly inside the traditional Empires. These people would not return to defend CFS Space yet they are entitled to VOTE on its future, whilst we, who lost ships and lives in the defence were not even informed of the discussion taking place.
For fatal mismanagement of the region, atrocious internal corruption leading to massively skewed voting rights and total penetration of the Military and Senate by subversive agents, for ignoring the true state of play in the EVE galaxy, for military incompetence in the areas of intelligence, communications and tactical and strategic combat and, finally, for duplicitous dealings with its partners, for all those reason the Empyrean Federation immediately withdraws all military support to the CFS.
We will not support a corrupt organisation that is now clearly self-serving and duplicitous.
By working together we can accomplish great things! |

I would suggest a system by which members of companies are counted at Alliance held operations. With those numbers, you could then tally votes represented in the next Alliance meeting.
Example:
Mining Operation Alpha:
4 XXAAKK corp members.
7 OOAARR Corp members.
5 LLOOAA Corp members.
2 XXBBCC Corp members.
Defense Patrol Gang Zeta:
4 ZZAABB Corp members.
3 LLOOAA Corp Members.
4 OOAARR Corp Members.
1 XXBBCC Corp Members.
The totals are:
3 XXBBCC Corp
4 ZZAABB Corp
4 XXAAKK Corp
8 LLOOAA Corp
11 OOAARR Corp
So until the next weeks sanctioned alliance operations, XXBBCC would have one vote, ZZAABB and XXAAKK would also have one vote. LLOOAA had twice the participants, they will have 2 votes. And OOAARR had 3 times the amounts as XXBBCC, so they would have 3 votes. This would of course require strict recording practices and a dedicated and able organizational staff for the alliance. However, you can see how participation in Alliance held operations would increase the amount of power those participating would wield.
Just an Idea, I doubt however if such a system will ever be placed in an existing alliance, as it would disturb the already placed power holders.

Wow,
Why doesn't Genco just take over the Fix. Whenever you guys were out in force A2 to 7GC was always clear. At least no one was camping any gates.

CFS never demaded anything. EF moved into the fix and wanted to claim parts as their own, even taking the new region names to try and duck the letters of the free space bill.

There is no secrecy in the bills that are put up. There has indeed been a discussion if we should consider closing /tolling FIX. But that never got beyond discussing the options. The majority of CFS members are against any closing on the FIX.
We have some internal issues indeed that need to be resolved, one of which was EF repeatedly bringing in plans into talks of cooperation with the CFS, plans that kept including giving EF exclusive rights to parts of FIX.
Your post here kinda dissapoints me. We of Satal's Legion operate from the same base as many of your corp do, and I got to know Genco as a group of good ppl. Wonder what happend...
Nothing happened - except that the CFS still suffers from appalling comunication issues or every CFS member corporation would know that we have already been in well-recieved talks with the CFS President, a number of senators and other independent "powers" and corporations.
(Yodaron Balsithor, Ends, DigitalCommunist (JGR), Quantum (HDY), Talon Silverhawk, Josheer(sp?)(TOHA), ValDUaneDotCom and Raindrop (and laterly Searle Faolan EF and the Bellini's from MUC) were all present at those talks.
Why, suddenly, this post should be resurrected AFTER those succesful talks I'm not sure...because it was rendered irrelevant by them.
Satal's Legion just need to be kept in the loop a bit better by, either their Senator, or, their Intel people (probably both).

As indicated above - this is woefully misleading and out-of-date considering the recent talks.
Please speak to your Senator and get him/her doing their job a bit better. If he IS doing his job then get him/her to kick the rest of the Senate and CFS up the arse again and back into motion.
You (CFS Member corps) should ALL be aware that the EF and other independents have gone well beyond talking about this declaration by now - that you don't is a cause for concern.
There are supposed to be ongoing CFS-wide discussion from that meeting ongoing now.
(I am not having a di/gpoke at either Satal or CFS with this - I'm just confused as to why you don't know anything about those talks or how we have all progressed a lon way on from the point at which this statement was issued at.)

I stand corrected. Didnt realise the start date of this topic.
My *outrage* came indeed from assuming that talks had failed. My apoligies, have been busy installing new locks on my researchers lab doors. Hopefully ending the constant mugging and destructions on his labs. Must have been off a bitt
