Hey fellow gallente pilot. I did the same thing that you did, start gallente then play with minmy ships. They are sure lots of fun to fly !
My setup is quite similar to yours, except for launchers and lows but its just personnal taste, rest works the same. I think i use EMP as well, you really gotta have a good falloff gunnery skill to fly that boat, i got lvl 4 and it works ok. I got T1 projectiles as well and i think T2 got better falloff, but in the meanwhile i think better named guns get better falloff, not 100% sure.
Anyways, don't mind fighting in real deep falloff or even in the beggining of the 2x falloff, as long as the other cannot shoot you, your still having the dps advantage. A bit is better than zero ! Its all about picking targets.
Also I don't use quickfit, but ingame my optimal + falloff is over 10km. |

First of, use Carbonized Lead. This will extend your optimal quite a bit, then I am guessing you are not looking at the huge falloff that 220 has. Look at the falloff and you'ss see that you are able to hit the enemy ship, outside web range. ---------------------------------------------

The thing is, that u really need t2 guns so u can use Barrage ammo. Then the 10-15 km orbit really works great vs other cruisers. For the rest ur setup is great.

Edited by: Drek Grapper on 01/06/2007 16:00:41 What the guy above me said. You really need T2 guns. Maybe use 180AC's as well as they track slightly better for not much less damage.
Amazing ship to solo in. Can fight out of web range and run for the hills when the sh*t hits the fan.
Enjoy the Minni!!
Edit: Also try an OD for more speed.

Edited by: ElMartino on 01/06/2007 16:54:29 I forgot to mention that. I have gyro/nano/OD in lows. the OD for overal extra speed and the nano for extra speed mwd. I also fit the 180mm for better tracking.
Btw has anybody ever tested a similar setup with 2*od and 2*nano on the rupture for 10-15km orbiting? mayba Im gonna try that tonight, I might surprise somebody with that setup/tactic.

Using longer range ammo on autocannons is completely idiotic.
That said, you really need t2 autocannons with barrage ammo, before you can do the whole out of webrange thing. Also, vagabond gets additional falloff bonus.
Regarding rupture, I don't recommend it, it's way too slow for this. It's like nanoing up a muninn... not very pretty.
