Even though my goal is to eventually fly a Carrier I don't wan't your char, or your stuff.
I share the opinion that you shouldn't transfer the character. You've been building up a good reputation in the last few months and anyone who would get the char would only soil it or have it fade anyway, so keep the char just in case you ever decide to come back.
Now for your stuff, if you really feel like giving it away and don't have someone in game that you wan't to pass it on to, just donate it to one of the corps that help newbies into the game like EVE Uni or other. That way you'll know your hard earned ISK will be well spent.

Actually, just set a long skill.. keep it in limbo.. come back after some time..like when the kids have grown up and moved out or something..
I don't think there is too many out there who deserves your char. I mean.. to see LC on the wrong side of peoples killboards would simply be wrong.

If you want to keep the characters safe you can transfer them to me.
Should you decide you ever want to return to EvE - just send an EvE mail and I shall pay to have the characters transferred back to your account.
While you have no reason to believe that I am true to my word - anyone who knows me in game will vouch that I have never been dishonest in any aspect of the game and certainly would have no intention of scamming you.
The reason I make you this offer is that too many people have left, came back after a year, and deeply regretted the fact they let their character go.
I am more than happy to act as caretaker for your Characters and assets until you return.
