I can't seem to find information on it, but I know I've heard about it. Instead of using fraps, I'd like to have the screen data output from my graphics card recorded onto my digital camera.
I have a Radeon x1300 256mb graphics card with a ZR65MC digital camera (outdated, I know).
I suppose I could put a small bounty on this for anyone who points me in the right direction...3m?

Your best bet is probably to try and plug the capture device into a second output port on your graphics card, probably the S-video will be the one.
Then you will want to clone your display over both of the outputs, this can be controlled in your graphics card drivers.
Your biggest problem is trying to get the digital camera to take the output and record from it, I don't there will be many digital cameras out there that will do that, digital camcorders should be able to though.

My terminology wasn't quite correct, it *is* a digital camcorder (MiniDV). I'll pick up an S-Video cable today and see how that pans out.

You'd probably be better off with a laptop or computer with a capture card installed. Outputting from S-video into the capture card input and then using the capture software should give you good smooth video. The resolution may be somewhat limited by the s-video though, I think the best you can do over s-video is 1280x1024. -----

S-Video isn't the best quality either... I'd recommend some sort of component capture or the like if possible.

This is very possible, in fact I've done it with very nice results. Problem is I used fairly expensive equipment.
Basically what I did was hook up a video monitor (something that has both input and output ports) to my S-video out on my video card then hooked a mini DV deck to said monitor's out port and recorded direct to tape.
The quality is far better than anything you can obtain with fraps and you can capture footage as big as your screen res will allow.
