Ryoma Sakamoto	Posted - 2007.06.04 08:56:00 - [32] Back when I had these exams(1985), they were still called GCE O-levels, and I took Maths(A) and Additional Maths(B), then went on to do double maths for A-levels (Both A), plus the special paper(A1). Having failed to learn my lesson, I read Physics in the University, and was justly punished with a Pass. In hindsight, it must all have been my hidden masochistic streaks making me do it....

Instead we use a grading system based on numbers (unless its changed, been a few years since i was at school) 1 being the best and 7 being a complete failure. Highers are the equiv of A-levels, although iirc A-levels are done over 2 years? Where as Scottish Highers are done over one (that includes the advanced highers as well) Edit: And you thought A-levels were hard :p -------------------------------- My Comments in no way reflect my corp or alliance
