We've been with the EvE community for four years. We saw the Alpha and Beta phases and we've been here since day 1 of the public release. Chances are, many of you have purchased vessels that have come from the orbiting manufacturing facilities that are the Hadean Drive Yards. WHAT WE'RE ABOUT In a word, ships. HDY was the first dedicated shipbuilding Corporation within the EvE universe and, over the years, has become a well-branded and almost household name in the EvE community. We've managed (for the most part) to stay out of the wars that have involved the Galaxy and have built the best ships possible for any and all clients. Whether an alliance, a large Corporation, or a single member, we've built ships to cover their needs. Pirate or Law Enforcement? No problem, we have just the ship you need. Our primary focus, however, is having fun and working in a team environment. Our members aren't just members, they are family. A few of the members of Hadean Drive Yards have been playing together for several years and lasting bonds of friendship have been established. Former members of Hadean Drive Yards who, for one reason or another, have ventured off into the great, black unknown, sometimes stop by just to say hello to some of the current members. EvE is as much a social outlet as it is an economic and military game of superiority. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR We're looking for bright and motivated capsuleers who are looking to belong to something bigger than themselves, and who want to find friendship as well as a knowledge of the game. If you're a noob pilot looking for a home to start your EVE career then check us out. If you're a veteran pilot who wants to come in from the cold blackness of space then check us out. We have space for just about every play style. WHAT DOES MEMBERSHIP GRANT? Well, aside from a fun and knowledgeable atmosphere to play in, you get several benefits: - Access to new technologies, - The ability to amass personal wealth be it through mining or military maneuvers, - Knowledge and insight into the game from experienced players, - Mentorship which can provide insight and guidance towards your specific training curve, - A role in something bigger and more organized than single player interaction with the EVE universe. charles laforge	Posted - 2007.06.04 22:52:00 - [3] hiya guys, to anyone reading this recruitment post i can recommend HDY, as a former member i still talk to a few and they are always top of my list to ask for help or advice, the structure they have is excellent and the knowledge there is deep,, HDY are focused and have a way of instilling that in its members, thats what they gave me when i arrived on thier doorstep a jaded eve player, even though i had a decent skill set and good understanding of the game i still fitted in and was made welcome, for new players they are probably the only alternative to eve uni i would recommend, the support and resources avaliable are awsome, you cant ask for a better grounding to the game, for the vets , they can identifiy holes in your skills and understanding like you wouldnt belive, and they are a fun bunch to kick back with and chill, refocus and move forward with, and they will watch your back and they have integrity and a belief in what they do, long winded post i know,, but there's more to say,, but better you check em out yourself and see it, if you want to know more, but dont fancy talking to them direct,( you should, they wont take the mick) then feel free to drop me a mail

As Charles (rather spiffily! ) mentioned, we tend to pick a goal or set of goals, set a plan, hammer away at it, then evaluate and start over with the next goal or project. We've done this with rebuilding our T1 ship library, acquiring all the new ship BPOs, setting up our complete freighter line, and now kicking off our carrier and dread lines. Every member of HDY helps out every other member. We all work towards helping the corp grow, and in so doing we help each other grow and offer new opportunities--like Overkill mentioned, we have lowsec opportunities, hisec ops, combat and protection ops...if its production/industry related, we do it. I guess you could say I'm one of those "Vets" that Charles Laforge spoke about in his earlier post, since I've been around Hadean Drive Yards since Beta 5. I've seen us rise, I've seen us fall, I've seen us rise again from the ashes after an "incident" reminiscent of GHSC. Our rebirth and rebuilding over the last 18 months is in large part due to the efforts of HDY's members. I've never seen in any game I've played a more driven, like minded assemblage of individuals in any MMO I've ever been involved with, and the people I serve with here, from our CEO, Overkill, to our newest and greenest cadet, are among the finest people I've ever had the privilege to have played with. If you are serious about your craft as an industrialist in EVE, if you love running missions and dealing with agents, or love the idea of being the last line of defense between your teammates and the predators that seem to hide behind every hunk of space-rock these days, then HDY has a place for you. HDY has grown leaps and bounds. In the last six months we've gone from vanilla T1 craft to T2 module production via invention, limited T2 ship construction (devils to invent, they), and have gone from 0 capital construction capability to boasting the complete freighter line and half the carriers built entirely in-house. Just imagine where we'll be in another six months. Be a part of that. Join HDY. During my time in HDY I've seen the following: -Getting attacked by ore thieves, blowing up several of their ships, then selling them replacements for a nice profit. ...all within 6 hours. -Watching the majority of the corp take a 50-odd jump road trip into 0.0--old hat for some, maybe, but for the previously empire-bound it was quite exhilirating...and educational. -An 'accidental' system-wide stripmining. -A wardec that was retracted 2 hours later after the OpFor CEO logged on to find a small fleet outside his undock point. -Escalation in operations from frigate/cruiser manufacturing to battleship construction to rapid-fire Freighter production to regular lowsec operations and carrier production. -A 4 day queue for ships in demand...for two weeks solid. Those Tier 2 BC's really flew off the shelves, and made keeping the minerals coming in a challenge.
