DaMiGe Amarr Infinitus Odium	Posted - 2007.06.03 23:30:00 - [1] Arr people, Yet again a new movie. This video has allot more bigger scale action then any of my other vids. Since bigger enemies require bigger fleets to kill. It shows some fraps from before infod's move but mostly after. Respect to all the enemies infod face daily. Keep bringing it I have tried to keep the filesize down as much as i could and tried a few other codec's. But none worked out as well as my good old WMV9. It was hard for me to try and match DaMiGe Control 1, but i have tried my best and i hope you will be pleased by the result. Alot of ganks in it (even more then normal) and throwing capitals vs normal fleets all the time :( Why did you bother putting in the TS in the first engagement, it was horrible with the music combined and you weren't even locking the primaries? Hope your next will be better again :)

Hope your next will be better again :) The times when we jumped in the capitals there was atleast an equal amount of hostile capitals in the system. We even expected them to warp them in and had dreadnaughts standby for takeouts. They never warped them in though wich was a pity as the fraps and killboard would have been allot more interesting. Its our enemies that decide to put them outside a pos with drones assigned opposed to us fielding them at point blank range. The TS of the first engagement was taken out of the second fraps in the left corner. When the fight was going on i had crashed from teamspeak and was unable to connect to it for atleast 1 hour after the fight. So while i was there i just was shooting some random stuff and trying to help out the best i could. Yes you are correct the primary, and focous fire appears to be lacking in our corp. But its not as simple as that in our fleets. We have varing roles for members depending on what were trying to do. I personally believe that our focus firing is in the top 1% of eve as far as effect goes. But we love the game and love to play so thats all that really counts, and Damige does do a good job showing everyone else how much we really do enjoy this game.

Loved it so far! /Lowa Yeah some others have had issues with the 2nd mirror like that (including myself), using a download manager like the downthemall manager for FF a fellow corpmate mentioned in the previous page, has seemed to fix all the problems people have been having with that mirror. Incase it fails again.
Das Forscher Infinitus Odium	Posted - 2007.06.04 12:05:00 - [70] I love the part where you tank that entire namtz gang in your little rapier, then we come in and nuke them as for us beeing blobbers, we can't help it really, in contrast to alot of alliances and other corps, our members play for pvp mostly, if we really have a "call to arms" or even only sheudle an bigger op (which ends up in videos like this) you will see 95% of the online people in gang and in t2 BS. Also every time someone says "enemy gang incoming" you see about twice as many x's than the enemy has ships :P can't keep the horny pirate mob from killing, impossible //------------------------------------------------------

Infod are one of the biggest single pirate corps around, it makes sense that we regulary (and we do) field larger than normal roaming gangs, just goes to show how dedicated and active our corp is.

I feel let down and inadequate :( - This is however the key reason why primary calling seems poor in the first section of the movie. The recording of ts on my frap's was overlaid onto DaMiGe's frap's being as my footage does not capture the battle as effectively, and is of a poorer quality due to both lag and the size at which i saved it. As DaMiGe has explained in this thread, TS had crashed on him for the duration of this battle and therefor he was unaware of the primary targets. It was an excellent fight and therefore i believe DaMiGe chose to show this section of the vid in this way as apposed to not show it at all. Awesome Vid DaMiGe, needless to say. shame on me for not whoring this thread sooner Keep up the good work mate

Features teh usual style of Damige editing, powerful, synched and very well done. In contrast to others I liked the music, all the way, even the cheese at the end just bcoz it fits! Some great combat clips that shows a lot of skill and coordination that leads to massive victories and good fun for all. Quality is as usual flawless and the only thing I found was that one of the tracks could have been lowered a bit, the bass was distorted. Other than that, nothing. Credits were really good, shows a lot of why you play the game (the reason I play too tbh). In regards to the target calling I would imagine (besides already given explanations) that in those huges fights lag makes it hard to follow the FC sometime and you are forced to act on your own and with a tight high skilled group that will still work out. We had an amazing fight with BRUCE the other weekend, I had no module lag but FPS was horrific for some reason and moving through the scanner at speed was not an option hence I switched to range and just took out everything within 40k. So once again a download totally worth doing, I even deleted some stuff to fit it. Hope you continue to do movies, its worth the wait everytime so far! The music order was near perfect in Damige Control 1 (with appropriate lulls in the track and distinct style shifts), but in this one tracks didn't distinguish themselves nearly as much. Still a wonderful video and one I'll be keeping and rewatching. ---

It`s mostly "**** it, I feel like flying ship X today, and I`ll still whoop your ass". I don`t see that too much in other movies. Besides that the most important thing when entering combat is to leave it with a good k/d ratio. Even though flying a carrier might be boring/expensive/you dont get on too many killmails etc.; it can be considered as taking one for the team for a succesfull result. Other than that you can make sexy banners out of Nidhoggurs. And our cameos make this movie the best out of these series offcourse

It's one thing to drop a carrier into a fight and rack up some kills, but it takes a real team player to focus more on his gang broadcasts and ignore all the targets on his overview. I think it's ****in awesome. As for the rest, it's a nice variation of ships and combat. My favorite is the "Here comes the Calvary" scene. MUHAHAHA! - Vid - 'P-2 Defense'

I could very well see your point in this. However I believe the intention of Damige's videos is to show what INFOD and himself is up for. To be honest with you INFOD is all about team work and we like to show everyone what is good about this game and why we like to play it. It may be boring but I for one like to see exactly why somone won the engagement instead of the old I'm uber and here's pretty explotions. More then half the fun is getting to the booms. Oh yea for those that view this video and thing omg I know how to kill them. Just remember eve is always evolving and things change along with tactics.

Motivation, expertise, teamwork and commitment are the reasons INFOD rolls so well and operates at the level seen in this movie. We have come a long way since we left CA concerning member activity, scale of combat and kill/death ratios. And trust me - we do boring/lesser exciting stuff aswell from time to time, but it`s all for a good cause/goal (examples are ~~mini...~~ shooting POSses). I agree with Seleene here, a group of teamplayers can win fights with better scores than a selfish bunch can. Logistics are king.
