.....then it'll be time for "EVE - Insurgency!"
I can see quite a few really, really interesting story arcs and scenarios (some event-driven, some player-driven and some guided by the invisible hand of CCP and the developers - no, *not* unethically done) that can strap the afterburners to this game and really start having some insane fun!
What we have now (and the impending 0.0 failure) can be made to seem like just a very small rehearsal for the big show in terms of politics, war and freedom.
But it's going to be one hell of a tricky feat for CCP to pull off. They'd better have some really good writers and brainstormers working on this right now because in about six to twelve month's time it's going to be needed.
And if that works out then we'll plunge headlong into "EVE - RAGNAR+K"!!

I posted here because I have a different view to nearly all in that thread. BoB have done a great job of doing what they do, most people in there are tending to view it as being the end game and looking at more conventional counters to the situation.
Myself, I look at it as being that BoB are actually succeeding (not by design, but as a collateral effect)in poking CCP with the dread Pointy Stick and that now it's up to CCP to really surpass themselves in countering the situation.
I don't think it's going to be about blob v blob any more - it has to be unforeseen and amazing twists in the EVE universe itself if EVE is going to continue to prosper.
CCP has to make them possible, our responsibility is to recognize and grasp them when we see them.
And no, it's not "Nerf BoB" - we're all in this together and a stagnant 0.0 will hurt us all.
