But some more events involving them wouldn't go amiss, like the early days. So long as I don't end up covered in bits of dead Jove abassador.

or make war on all the big alliances 
maybe they are saving the jove to the day BoB becomes to big, then have a rp-event of the big jove invation. think of a 500 ship lagprotected fleet that for some reason calls primary with the EXACT right ammount of highslots for the job scarry

Well, for once, it would be new places to go, more stuff to explore.
There are two separate Jove regions, they could be opened up separately, with a serious time delay between them.
Heck, the Polaris system and several other close to it could be completely isolated from the rest of Jove space.
Second, you could have Jove ships BPCs and Jove ship skillbooks given out just like pirate faction ship BPCs, but for a higher LP cost... and Jove agents could be pretty tricky to please (nastier-than-usual missions, and besides, they're almost entirely located in 0.0 space, so competition would be ferocious).
Third, we don't even know what weapon systems (or other modules) the Jove use, so podpilots wouldn't have the effectiveness of Jove pilots in Jove ships.
Besides, there are no listed bonuses on Jove ships either... so they might as well be WYSIWYG (or, they could be like that for normal podpilots).
And finally, "why not" ?

Ah, see. But thats the secret. Jove battleship is trainable to level 7, its the source of their secret power.

if you want to take a look at the JOve stations ships and chars..
you can export the 3d models from eve and add the textures.. youll get an idea on how they live..

Many years ago you could set your clone for the jove empire...so when you died thats where you went. Dev's and Gms got tired of seeing us peons pop into their 'home' and fixed it.
