Its been about three months sence I started playing EvE and about two sence I stopped playing MXO. In that time ive encountered two old faction mates and have met up with an eve branch of a Vector (server) faction of MXO. Im wondering if anyone else from MXO is here.

Hey, don't beat on that game. I played for well over a year, it's just a damn pity that it's going / has gone to where it is now. Thanks SOE

I remember playing the beta for a while when I was away from Eve. I thought it really sucked and then eventually came back here.

Edited by: Nuala Reece on 06/06/2007 08:29:14 Played it for about a month but, by god, that was a disappointing game. Buggy as hell for one thing, plus I never really understood why they felt they had to alter one of the basic premises on the movies. In the movie agents are unstoppable; it's clear that if you meet one you just run away and hope to survive, that fighting them is suicide and that fighting and beating an agent is something next to a miracle. In the game, I was an hour in and killed one - mystery and wonder shattered and a general overarching feeling of WTF!? stepped in. And don't get me started on the customer support - an online game that lets you sign up over the interent but to cancel insists you phone them up (in some cases having to make an international call) and be pressured by their staff about why you want to cancel? So not good

In the games defence, if it was one of the red LED eyed agents, those were actualy another faction of exile comandos in disguise. I played the game for awhile, left, went back and left again. Level progression in the game left something to be desired and the rewards for doing so were rather poor. Not to mention te repetitive missions, lack of endgame, and general lack of threat to your existance that was what drove the movies. ----

Edited by: Raelosk on 07/06/2007 01:18:02 Typical SOE, if you ask me. They ruin every game they touch. And even the one they haven't ruined isn't that great to begin with. I'm surprised that they still even have any subscribers to any game they offer. They are losing money fast, that's why you can get 5 of their games bundled together for 30 bucks with 30 days free subscription to all of the games included. Also, why they make it hard as hell to cancel the subscriptions They suck and they know it...just don't want you to know it.

Same here, SOE needs to die. I wish LucasArts would renig the contract and take the liscense away and sell it to some one who wouldn't *****it slowly with no lube.

Shame really. I love the Matrix IP- majorly disappointed with that. I mean what would make a better MMO than a plot where everyone lives inside a virtual world?!
The day I read the first terrible review, my wee optimistic hard sank... --------

MXO was bad before SOE took it over. To be honest, SOE have done quite a bit to improve MXO, even though it still sucks.
I played MXO when it first came out and it was incredibly buggy. It still is and plays like a fat person in a bowling alley. My little brother likes it though. I'll have to beat that out of him sometime.
