Why hasnt CCP come up with a killboard that automatically registers killmails when they happen? It shouldnt be hard to do if they just had it run of of another server.

Because they never wanted Eve to turn into Counter Strike in Space, well thats what was said last time this was asked

it's a good way to find out who's a useless carebear in a pvp ship when you kill them and they don't post the loss on their board.

i heard that instead of killmails, you'll get things that will go on ur bio in the future. I think its Rev 3 tho, im not too sure tho...

That's what I heard too...kills deserve their own section, not grouped in with the mail anyway.

I really do hope that they implement it in such a way that makes killboards useless. Fights should be about getting the job done, not about what your K:D score is.

Counterstrike is counterstrike because of the game mechanics. Eve is Eve because of the game mechanics. A killboard won't change that.
The day they banned linking killboards on the forums was the day that CCP needed to make an official killboard. Either or, either or!

I think I heard *somewhere* that killmails will be removed sometime SoonÖ and you can see kills/losses in the character sheet. I'm hoping this means you can view other people's too

alot of us don't want people shouting their stats at each other as a way to win an argument. Also, some of us keep our killboards private so that people cannot read them to find out where we're operating and what we're flying. If you want to keep a tally of your own score, go ahead and make your own killboard.

Then ignore the people talking about their e-.. er yea, you get the idea. Simple enough.
And I have no time for the "private operations" argument - I can find out where any alliance is operating in-game inside 10 minutes quite easily. Unless you want to ban your victims from using killboards (etc.). As for setups, nope, no sympathy there either. Firstly, don't lose ships if you want to keep it secret (again, your enemy will probably post it anyway), secondly player skill is a huge factor and setup tells you little against a skilled enemy (It can tell you exactly HOW bad a bad PvPer is, but that's all).
