The new beach head has been secured. General Halimar is ordering his troops to advance on a fortified position "Attack" he says and the noble warriors advance into the Monster's abyss. They shoot down node crashes, fleet numbers are fight-able up to 1000 people, Jita is secure. Bella Bee reports in "We're ready to deploy the next patch!"
The beast responds in an awful way. POS's break, DED sites unfindable, peppering Zymurgist's tank with bugs the size of a battleship. The advance slows even further after re-customization breaks. The worthy soldiers report in "We can't hold the line! We have to fall back!" After the flood of reports and complaints they fall back and make a new plan.
With the plan of attack remade General Halimar orders his commanders to deploy 1.41 and the next assault is pressed forward. With the POS's fixed and Plex's findable, the loyal followers find they can't log in half of the time, some of them can't install the battle plan to they're NEOCOM. Casualties are mounting, hundreds to thousands, then tens of thousands. Bug reports are flooding the new forums shattering bug report records of previous assaults on the BEAST. The heaviest report is not a surprise re-customization was barely touched and has caused the most casualties thus far.
Alas General Halimar orders a full retreat to the staging area "Until then next assault" he comforts his troops "We'll win someday just not today."
This goes to the subscribers who won't be paying next month, your valued service will never "Bee" forgotten.

Back in the days CCP took care of their subscribers. Reimbursed stuff lost when the game didn't perform as it should and actually tried to make the game an interesting place for everybody instead of thinking about profits and how to help their favorite alliances the most... |

so lets see, they just rushed through a patch, changing a lot of 0.0 functionality without consulting the CSM (or even letting them know it was going to happen) and which a LOT of customers are seriously pissed about.... and then its a bug ridden piece of crap. instead of taking the time and trying to correct in game the consequences of their bugs they go "meh **** em" and blithely march on.
sounds about right to me. horrible game design from team BFF punctuated by a lot of canned replies from the pathetic version of customer support and closing their eyes and sticking their head in the snow and hoping no one notices its all crap.
i mean the changes they made actually make the UI LESS convenient than it was before. try trading in station. theres more lag when undocking the list goes on and on.
i think you need to pull the DUST team back and fix EVE before theres not an EVE left to deploy DUST on to. |
