The other day my corp mates and I were trying out a couple of different things with the carrier I had just acquired. I noticed a couple of weird things and was wondering if other capital pilots had similar issues.
When I launch my fighters it takes forever for them to stop attacking or to dock. However, if I launch a regular drone it responds quickly to both situations. I remember there were alot of problems with drones before but it seems to have been fixed. At least for me it has...
My next issue is with the shields. It seems that when I dock to a station with any shield damage and then undock then damage is still there. This has happened even if I leave the ship docked for a day. I have tried this with two different computers to see if it was something graphically wrong with my system. The shields do repair but it seems I have to undock for that to happen.

Edited by: Genrath on 07/06/2007 16:22:05 Fighters are apparently getting fixed next patch, so that they engage their mwd when you ask them to come back aswell.
The shield stuff is just that it doesnt update from docking, try having someone do a little damage to you, your shields will go to 99-100% (depending on the damage the ship thats ''updating'' you do) in an instant.
So yes it recharges to 100%, but doesnt update untill you take damage again after an undock.

Also station may not provide repair service and then ur shields wont get repaired. ---

drones = dunno
but shields....
when u dock whit shield dmg and undock... you will still see the dmg.. but when you activate a booster OR someone shoots you.. your shields will jump to 100% (only you will see the jump... others targeting you wount).
same whit cap.. if you dock allmost empty and undock.. it might show the same situation... but when you use a mod that needs cap... it jumps to a 100%. or someone nosses you same thing.
they are both full... but for soem reasonw hen you undock it still shows the previous state when you undocked.... problem is that the client isnt told the new info(that your shields and cap are 100% now) when you undock. just lack of few lines of code or so :) (dunno... never seen how eves coded so cant tell you if its few lines :P or even that simple) --------------------------------------- Sig killed by MODs.... reworking it Great being Gallente... aint it ? ----------------- YARRRR, sig hijack! -HornFrog ----------------- |
