Does anyone know why the Dom and scorp have 1 less slot than the other BS?
All others have 19 slots but dom and scorp only have 18.
Just wondered as a extra med on the dom or low on the scorp would rock

The other question is why is it the the mega and armageddon both have more high slots than turrets/ missiles.
All other BS can fill all high slots with these.

I wouldn't use total number of slots as a measuring device for ship quality. Slot type, drone bay, powergrid, CPU, shields, armor, sensor attributes and speed should all balance out in an ideal world.
If you don't belive it, compare the effectiveness of a Rifter with a Tristan.

Sphalerite has it right.
Compare Rupture and thorax. Rupture has 1 more high slot than thorax but other things need to be taken into account when comparing the two ships.

The slots r different cuz it¦s all about tactics, skills and race. If all BS had the same amount of slots and only a different look, it would be kinda stupid.

Yeah but Hellspawn alot of the BS have the same number of slots and they are all very different. I don't think that's a valid point.
I think it's generally acknowledged that the Dom is a little underpowered though, I say it needs an extra high slot missile bay

Because they are good as they are.
A scorp is a great EW ship and i fear them.
IF i aproach a scorp in my armageddon with it'S pittyful 3 med slots and 8 low slots i will most likely get my ass hjanded because i wont be able to unload my tachyon firepower at all.
Ppl who say the devs hate calidari ships most likely never used or fought against one i guess.
I for myself have respect of the scorpion and think it's one of the most useful ships in a battle.

doesnt teh dom gots like 5-6 med slots? thats nearly dbl of the armageddeon plus 5k drone

5 is twice as much as 4? didn't do too well in 1st grade math eh?

dom has 5, arma has 3, thats almost twice as much 
and the reason a dom had less than the others (total slots) is because its an old cheap warhorse, as the description says. the scorp has massive med slots, and its supposed to rely on huge shields and EW, low slots are for armor and gun mods. thats why an armageddon has 8 of em, its an armor tank with massive guns.
