I have been in only two real PC corps.
The first one was a good group of guys, but they were mostly European time zone players. I had a chance to experience 0.0 PVP/Mining with them in a couple different 0.0 locations. Of course, we also did higher security (0.1 to 0.4) anti-pirate and industrial ops. The time zone issue ment sparse player participation during my prime playing hours.
The second one was a small 4 member corp which I helped run. My buddies and I started this up so we could experience some of the aspects of game play which we were denied in the old corp. We really wanted to play around with POS management. So, for the last 6 weeks we have been running a Mining outpost POS in 0.2 space. This has been a good learning experience, but my buddies have decided to quit EVE and go back to playing WOW now that the expansion is out. I am in the final stages of taking the POS down and moving all the stuff to a nearby station.
Rather than try to build a corp myself I would like to join an established corp with many active members. I like PVP, but I enjoy, and have most of my skills geared towards, mining...recently lost a Hulk to pirate activity :( .
Anyway, if you have a good corp with many active members I'd be interested. 0.0 access would be a plus. Organized PVP and mining ops would also be great.

Sorry to hear about your Hulk loss. I share your sympathies. Please, let me extend my invitation to you from my corporation to yours.
We too have a POS operable, many dedicated industrialists, and a will to defend whats rightly ours when others want to "feed" off of our success. We do it all, from PvP to Mining. We never force anyone who doesn't want to do any single one of those things to do it.
