I use two different computers and two different accounts on each and was wondering if there was any way to take the market quickbar items and share them or move them between computers.
I assume the information is stored in EVE\cache\settings as either user_xxxxx.dat or char_xxxx.dat.
Anybody have any insight - even if it's manually editing the .dat file?

I usually just copy the whole cache folder. It is annoying though, seeing as the quickbar is extremely important...

I wouldn't recommend modifying the files directly. The method I use is to set up everything for my characters on my desktop. Overview settings, market quickbar, chat window positions, etc. Then I copy the Settings folder and Browser folder over to a USB drive that travels with me to any other computers I use with eve. Copy the files off from the USB drive and your problem is solved.

I once suggested a client settings export/import. I like the idea simply because corps could share overview settings with new players, among many possibilities. One can only hope that such a thing comes to pass ... someday.

The copy whole directory should work for a single account, but any suggestions for getting the quickbar information from one account to another?

Just copy rename the user_xxxx.dat and char_xxxxx.dat to user_yyyyyy.dat and char_yyyyy.dat.
where xxxx and yyyy are you acount and char IDs
