One has many a moon wondered about the ways other might use to guide them through lifeÆs many twists and turns, and so here thou might read and place unto this most humble area thou's way:
It would be most grievous of one self not to lead by example so one shall go first with ones own way:
Ones self follows an ethical code that has been followed by warriors spaning through out her ancestors history, often those that were privileged by birth.
Belonging to nobility or another superior caste to preserve their honor, as such common virtues in warrior code are:
Rectitude
Courage
Honesty
Honor
Glory
Loyalty
And though one has indeed allows one self to fall from grace by most disreputable action towards another pod pilot one still up holds to the warriors code.

For me there is the Rule of Three that is more than just a way of life, more than a philosophy of faith it is notion, an idea born from the hearts of those whose heart are filled with love for every thing and one!
The first is tolerance for all faiths and beliefs no matter how radical and close minded they maybe, for itis not my place to judge the views and faith of another sentient being.
For with out the tolerance of acceptance for all alignments there can be no balance, with out evil good has no purpose just as evil has no place with out good.
Chaos can not exist with out Order to corrupt just as Order can not survive with out Chaos to.
- Life and Death!
Love and Hate!
War and Peace!
Creation and Destruction!
All are needed to keep the balance should one ever dominate the others then there would be nothing, but again this is my view alone and do not wish to force it on any one.
- The Second way is Mercy,
To Protect the Weak!
The Defenceless!
Those that cannot Defend themselves!
To feed the starving and poor, and aid the meek.
For there can be no great reward for me than the knowledge that I have done that which I feel in my heart to be right and true.
The Third way of Three is Love,
For with out love there is nothing, for love comes in forms and shapes and exists in all things and faiths, such forms as:
- Devotion!
Compassion!
Honour!
Duty!
Even in a faith like the Sani Sabik there is love, it is a strange and infinite power that never act directly but influences us or me any way in some shape or form.
This is the way of Three, my way my path.

As with most others born on Saisio, I follow the principles of my faith, seeking to strengthen myself through meditation, clarity of mind, and the pursuit of excellence in my chosen life.
The universe is a single whole, and our identities and separation from one another are an illusion. By understanding ourselves and our roles within that greater universe, we come to a finer understanding of the universe itself.
The role of the fisherman, soldier, or mechanic is generally clear and well-explored. The role of the pilot, less-so. While I've attempted to apply the role of the soldier, the scout, or the explorer to my existence, none of these can really address what it is to have one's mind stripped from one's body and cast across light years, or to abandon one's body, jacked in, to the wetgrave, and adopt the senses and systems of a starship as one's own. Nor can they fully prepare a pilot for the slow drain of empathy for the rest of mankind, even of comprehension of the loss of life attendant upon the destruction of a battleship. And it certainly does not prepare you for finding the inhumanity of your new nature staring from the title of a skill, "Infomorph Psychology," or realizing its import: that you're no longer a biological creature of any sort, much less a human being.
What I am, I am still discovering, learning day by day. When I fully understand that, I will know my role in the universe, and through that, the universe itself. Until then, I follow my path, no matter how far it carries me from the point where I began, and no matter how changed I am from the human woman I used to be.
Through practice and focus, ability. Through ability and contemplation, understanding. Through understanding and acceptance, perfection.

Once upon a time, I followed orders! The orders of the State! But over time I realized that some of these orders did not make sense, the things that you get asked to do! You start to question who really is right. The civilians you are ordered to fire on, or the exec thinking about the bottom line. I had to draw a line eventually. I came up with a few rules that I live by:
Question Everything, especially diffinitives!
Do not fight those incapable of fighting back!
Kill only when necessary!
Learn as much as you can!
Trust No One!
I say prep for dustoff, nuke the site from orbit...
Only way to be sure! |
