Not often does a young miner get the last laugh, especialy against can fliping pirates, but tonight the carebear got the last laugh..
Due to ore theft in the area, i was humbly asked if I would drop a can for a miner to mine too, this I did, result was a rather large ship apearing and fliping the can.
Being smart nobody fired, but this is wher it got ineresting, another pirate in another large ship warps in and takes the fliped can, all hell breaks loose, in a very fun light show.
Result one pirate kills the other and before anyone can blink, the newbie miner has grabbed everything and ran!!
Market values show upto 40+ mil in items acording to the very happy Cherry, who I quote "cool I can sleep early tonight now"

Well a very good evening for me, went out to do a spot of mining in cistaveart and end up with almost 800,000 in velspar, only to find it's blackpool illuminations right next to me. can flipping is great when the pirate is then the victim and shot down by another pirate.
oh joy of joys i'm in range to loot the ship and end up with over 40 mill worth of new shinny toys to put on my ship, if i dare leave the station again. lol.

I am left wondering what on earth kind of 'large' ship or any ship for that matter used those kind of modules together.
Btw nicely done. i can honestly say that i have only once done the can flip thing which was about a year or so ago when i was mercing. saw 5 covetors in a belt mining and wanted to play with them in my vengeance. was hoping maybe 1 would attack or something but when i pinched 1 trit from their can all 5 of them launched 5 t2 drones each and attacked me lol. scrammed by 2 of them i managed to take down 2 of them before biting it. miners with teeth ftw.
now come to low sec and mine, we have secsy ores

Other days, I go looking for ore thieves, and never find anyone.
