A bunch of Evesters went over and gave it all 10s after someone posted that some Ultima online weenies had brought Eve down artificially by giving it 1s.
While the loyalty is to be commended, (I guess) this sort of thing kinda tramples the meaningfulness of that rating.

I genuinely believe that eve is worth 10 in every category.
What other game could keep me addicted for 7 months (and I'm staying for years !). Best game ever.

The textures and the errors with the 3d models should never of gotten it a 10 for graphics.

Sound: 8.7 <--- Sound is great in the game, I say 9 
Role Playing: 7.8 <--- 8,5
Value: 8.3 <-- Have no clue what this is 
Fun: 7.9 <--- 9,5 there
Community: 8.4
Performance / Lag: 8.2 <--- lag is WAY more then this, I would give it 6
Customer Service: 7.9 <-- Depends on alot of things

Graphics aint a 10, have you never seen your ship collect about 4 other ships on it after a battle, and thus slow the game down, or maybe how the station textures flicker and disapear due to the Z-Buffer bug? It gets an 8
Sound is not a nine, the sound in this game was the casue of CTD and exploits for months and months, i would give it a 7
Fun, i would give a 7.5 Fleet battles could be absolutely amazing, but due to the terrible performance its not usually that fun.
Customer service, blash only gets a 6 from me, i've had chars stuck for 3 days before, i have several agents petitions on-going for 2 weeks now, with the only replies stating "We dont know why its not working"
Performance/Lag, lol i agree here, it gets a 6 at best, fleet battles are unplayable sometimes, and my first visit to empire in 3 months made me realise i was lucky to live in 0.0 space where jumping and docking doesnt take an age.

I went over and voted fairly - my average was 8.7 - not the 10/10 some muppets gave...
Anyway if it helps brings new players to the game then all the better!

Well id say people were pretty generous with their points lol =P
I think overall its rated a little to high, i would have rated it a little lower across the board. Ofcourse when taling purely mmorpg i think the score is justifyable. Except for the lagg/performance.
Lagg in fleet battles is just hilarious. Should take a bigger hit for that!

It's time for Eris to get a clue. CCP should make a statement about this.
It's the exact same things as what Zombie did, you may not attack in "safe-areas" (empire/within sentry range) without loosing your ship.
