wow is the only game that ever took my mind off eve tbh................its such a welcome change but both games are leagues apart in what they do i would have originally said eve was much better for getting a group together if non of your actual buddies were online but eve is now just a dog eat dog affair

I myself started EVE after quitting WoW and I must say, the game itself if fantastically made and deserves little negative criticism. What did make me leave were the people who play it, those who take it far too seriously and turn it in to a chore rather than a game...

what those silly people at Blizzard do all day is beyond me..
I think they spend all day making sure Blizzard employees dont abuse the game or its mechanics or otherwise try to cheat.
Course, when you make a solid product right out of the gate you can focus your attentions on little items like, ohhh, making sure your employees dont cheat and ruin the game for everyone and completely discredit your company.
But I may be wrong. They may spend all day making silly little dance videos.

flaming from personal experience is ok,flaming because your step sisters,uncles,cousins,mothers,roommate from college said something was evil, is completely childish and immature. I have never played WOW, iŠve only tried to play those pesky Corean copies (because they are free).
In my case at least its the grinding and the theme.
I mean Gnomes, Elfs and magic and all that stuff, its not my thing and i dont feel "connected" to the theme.
Now give me some spaceships with lasers and big explosions and you got my money

Well it doesnt realy matter what we think of WOW does it.
8 million subscribers as aposed to 200k, Blizzard did something right, even if it wasnt appealing to hard-core gamers, such as ourselves...

WoW is fun till you max out then all there is is PvP, at least eve will take forever to max out
