think i am lucky that i have a friend ingame, have made 150,000 isk and only been playing 3 hours, have a new ship already too

Enjoy, Stick with it as it can be frustrating at times (loose a ship or get scammed) but its all good in the end. P.S if you trade with someone always check the info on what your buying as ppl do rename an object so they look like something else usualy a more expensive item.

Beware of the sentry guns....always beware of the sentries....
Never use missiles near stargates
Never use smartbombs near station
Never shoot at someone in 0.4 space near stargates
I've done all three of those

Welcome to the eve community...
Tips i wish someone told me:
GET at corp ASAP...its cheaper in the long run and better fun!
NEVER run your own corp..members are a pain in the ass!
GET on Team speak...better communication and you can really get a feel for your corp and fellow members...as well as better early warning and information etc..
SPECIALISE...dont try and train up everything..multi role pilots are two a penny..and more skills are comming...
have fun dude!

Bleh attack sentry guns...you hit them hard enough they will blow up.
I havent been able to destroy one yet but it doesnt stop me from trying >+D

You've joined eve with nice timing, the universe is exceptionally smooth atm, eve code seems stable with no major issues.
Characters to look out for:
The Light Side
Jade - Jericho Fraction, articulate forum writter.
Miso - Jericho Fraction, everyone wants her panties.
Joshua - Everlasting, well known, learn a lot from this guy
Omber Zombie - Jovian Strain, warped humour but interesting.
J0 - Jericho again, constructive posts (Need more of this)
Many others but the Dark Side
Skillz - dangerous pirate
Lord Zap - m0o, a powerfull leader of the infamous corp
Negotiator - m0o, experianced pirate
drunkenmaster - invaders, pod you in seconds great pirate
Many other but i cant be bothered to list them all, but dont worry you'll meet um.

I advise that you join a corporation as soon as possible to advance faster, they will help you out with everything. Chose your profession well and set your alarm clock because you'll be getting up at night to switch skill training.
