I would like to offer another perspective, mainly a PvP one, and of course as someone who was involved in virtually every negotiation that saw this recent change, you can ask me any question you want. My honesty is 100% guaranteed, people liking the answers are not. My pov will be nothing more than personal, and from KIA's perspective. If you paraphrase your questions, looking for an answer to support your feeling of injustice, I will feel free to tell it how it is though. We didn't reach this depth of negotiation, although, we were aware that any "merger" that was followed through, would mean a review of every policy currently held by both sides. This was one of the main reasons, it was impossible to ggo ahead with it, other than the piracy problem. 2 - Is the new alliance a predominantly defensive entity, or one that will lay claims to outside territories in the future? Defensive, almost exclusively. We only have interest in Venal (and going forward in the safety of PB for travellers/traders alike), and her well being. 3 - Is there a person who is designated as the main negotiating contact for the new alliance? Not officially, but a good place to start is with one of the CEOs, he will then raise it at the CEO council meeting, once he has a good understanding of the proposal. 4 - Will the new entity allow outsiders to operate in some regions of Venal as the now defunct NVA did? Under what terms? This can and will be negotiated, but the new allinace will be far stricter on what is and isn't allowed. If it is for the greater good of Venal, so be it, but no more will we allow ourselves, or our home to be abused. 5 - Do you feel that the new regional power will be more effective in combat discipline-wise given the different views on rules of engagement within the corporations? The new allinace will have very little problems with combat/defense, other than the uk/usa logging off and on problemns, this is being addressed though. FE forces are currently losing ships at a heavy rate, unlike us.
