The Curatores Veritatis Alliance (CVA) is a roleplay alliance which was founded early in the history of the EVE Universe as a meeting point for Amarrian Corps interested in the defence of the Holy Amarr Empire.
It is not a formal alliance in the sense of conglomerations such as CA, FA, SA etc but acts as a mechanic for likeminded Amarrian Corps to share intelligence, trade (on favourable terms), conduct joint deepspace mining ops and generally make friends and work with other loyal Amarrians.
There is no conditions tied into joining the CVA - apart from the fact members Corps have to be Amarr only Corps. Member Corporations are not obligated to become involved in any wars being fought by other members.
In fact the CVA in no way impinges on the sovereignity and ability of the various member Corps to make their own decisions and choices. Any and all military help provided to other members is provided voluntarily!
At its peak the CVA's membership consisted of approximately six Amarr only Corporations. However over time some of these Corporations have ceased to exist either through inactivity or by merging into other Corps.
Its current membership consist of 3 prominent Amarrian Corps...
Imperial Dreams - a leading Amarrian research/manufacturing concern PIE Inc - a leading Amarrian Corp dedicated to combating threats to the Amarrian Empire, its people and traditions Amarrian Mercenary Republic - Amarrian 'jack-of-all-trades'
With the influx of so many new pilots and Corporations into the game of late we felt the time was right to remind Amarrian pilots of the existence of the CVA and to invite Amarrian -Corps to make contact and join.
Of late the Minmatar have become more organised with many of their small Corporations acting competently together. Amarrians should be prepared to counter this growing threat to the Empire and the CVA offers the perfect vehicle to counter such developments with a joint channel and shared forums.
If your Corporation is interested in joining the CVA then please contact either myself or Snook (from PIE) or Aralis / eXcs from Imperial Dreams in game...

The time has come for loyal Amarr to unite under the banner of the CVA, and stand firm in the face of rabid Minmatar agression.

I belong to no corporation as that would put one corp over another, which could cause tensions. But I am willing to help with mining ops and so forth. I am not on a lot due to royal obligations. What is the best way to contact one of my subjects to help out.

Hardin although i fight with the Curse alliance at the moment, i hope you know that i personally hold no ill will towards PIE, and that while i would be forced to shoot you during a battle, i would happily sit and share time with such a noble and honourable Amarri as yourself away from the battlefield.

I dont understand this...
I am born Amarr, but i work to further my own life. Oracle and the other Curse Alliance are loyal allies and they have shown themselves to be more willing and able to work together than many other Amarr corporations.
I did once dream of unity amongst Amarri, but when Jamyl Sarum refused to take the reigns of Power from a Gallente Puppet, I decided that the only way to live life as i saw fit, and to lead my brave crew and their families in the ways we saw as traditional, we had to fight for it ourselves.
The former slaves of House Kyri are now house servants, and are happy to remain working alongside me and my Amarr crew. They work with more vigour and will even complain less of bad conditions as they now have the choice to stay or leave. They have seen now that the Amarr way is often more considerate and caring than the "free labour" that many caldari, gallente, and minmatar suffer under.
They are now free servants, but they are treated just as well as they were as House slaves.
SOme Minmatar have shown themselves to be as true and honourable as many Amarr - and i can work alongside them. -----

Vel Kyri, i wonder what Tuoni Kyri would say to your development.
There will be obstacles and difficulties. That's his test. We must make his gift deserving. -- The Scriptures. Second Letter of St. Junip of Aerui.
Heideran and now Doriam are indeed a hard test and i fear the worst. But as long i have the scriptures to show me the true way i will not fail.

WAKE UP
- Pride comes before the fall.
I have only flown alongside Oracle on two occassions, both times driving out intruders to the Curse region who sought to destroy us.
I have not spoken with my uncle for some time. I am sure he would be unhappy with me, but he always was. Matter of fact, both CONCORD and many within the Amarr Empire would probably like to see him dead. Look at where all his words got him... nowhere.
I have never lost faith in the Amarr ways - and still hold to many of them. But the Amarr Empire as a whole is a crumbling giant - its many parts unwilling to unite for a greater good. This is its downfall, and the strenght of many Minmatar and of Curse - they work together for a common cause.
If only the Amarri would wake up. -----

"Pride comes before the fall."
This words are for weaklings. I tell you pride is the foundation stone for great achievements. In the past our anchestors said: "Amarr and Proud".
"I have only flown alongside Oracle on two occassions, both times driving out intruders to the Curse region who sought to destroy us."
And by defending the CA territory you defend the support lines of PFM and Oracle who terrorize legal business men in Amarr space. Your allies, The Peoples Front Of Minmatar, never made a secret they attack all Amarr / Ni-Kunni except those in the CA. At least you are guilty to support the Minmatar resistance by defending their base.
"I have not spoken with my uncle for some time. I am sure he would be unhappy with me, but he always was. Matter of fact, both CONCORD and many within the Amarr Empire would probably like to see him dead. Look at where all his words got him... nowhere."
Yes, the power in the Amarr Empire mostly is in the hands of gallentean ass licking puppets and Concord which of course dislike the words from your uncle. Your uncle said "I never asked for money or power, and have not been given any, what i did look for was the rebirth of my brothers and sisters, for my children to be raised in an honourable and traditional way, for the Amarr people to flourish and rise to strength and properity." You are wrong if you believe your uncle has achieved nothing. He gave many amarrians who uphold our traditions a voice. Controlling territory and making isk is only a side effect when the Amarr follow the path of virtue. A true Amarr isn't greedy and looking for personal enrichment. He is looking to spread the word of God. Your uncle is an idol for many Amarri who still remember our old traditions which made Amarr so strong in the past.
"I have never lost faith in the Amarr ways - and still hold to many of them. But the Amarr Empire as a whole is a crumbling giant - its many parts unwilling to unite for a greater good. This is its downfall, and the strenght of many Minmatar and of Curse - they work together for a common cause. If only the Amarri would wake up."
True. The Empire is a place where rich people can buy themself into the privy council. Where a Heir can destroy holy artefacts in the house of God and get away without punishment because his father is Emperor. Where another Heir prefers an inferior creature as his wife/lover. And the last hope of many Amarrians Jamyl Sarum died without naming an Heir and without recognizing Doriam as Emperor. Nobody thinks this is odd? The investigation of this incident Yonis Ardishapur was asking for seems to be ignored. And those Amarr who call themself good Amarr are blind to all this or completly ignore all this and run around like brainwashed chickens and repeatly shout "The Emperors will is law".
Yes, the Amarri need to wake up. But don't expect them all to wake up at the same time without a trigger. There are people like your uncle who start the awakening. You still can join him and fight on his side instead on the side of Minmatar terrorists.
And if i would be the last true Amarr, alone versus millions, i would fight and win because God is by my side.
Just for the case you don't know: I am Dark Amarr. But my words could and should have been the words of any other true Amarr.

ANNOUNCEMENT
The Curatores Veritatis Alliance (CVA) is pleased to announce the addition of the Dark Seraph Corp to this Empire based alliance.
Like the other members of the CVA alliance the Dark Seraph Corp is an Amarr only Corp committed to defending the Amarr Empire from the interference of hostile external forces.

Tonight, in a joint operation, over 30 loyal CVA pilots conducted a sweep for known terrorists in Minmatar space.
Unfortunately the Minmatar proved elusive tonight - abandoning their HQ systems in advance of the Amarr force. As a result their losses were restricted to an Oracle Blackbird and an Indy piloted by Devil Maelstrom and Squavelon respectively.
It is expected that more joint operations will follow. The Minmatar terrorists will not be allowed to interfere in Amarr internal affairs unchecked.

Curse forces became aware of a possible intrusion by CVA forces earlier this evening. We amassed a force to meet them should they continue their hunt for my bretherin in Great Wildlands. Fortunatley the CVA fleet turned around, presumably because they could not engage the Minmatar fleet which was in Great Wildlands, being Curse Alliance territory then the CA fleet supporting the Minmatar would have opend fire.

The CVA is NOT at war with CA.
I am glad y'all gathered your forces but we never had an intention to invade CA.
Our operation was simply to locate and destroy Minmatar terrorists...
But thank you for explaining why we didnt find that many last night! Typical of the Minmatar to take cover among their multi-racial brthren in CA!
We are obviously going to have to declare that CA is part of the 'Axis Of Evil' for sheltering and giving sustenance to these Minmatar terrorists.
As for Viqer Fell's 'They are running back to Empire Space' we 'ran' back to Empire space because we had already reached our objective which was the Peple's Front Of Minmatar HQ at Klingt - which they had abandoned to us!

Edited by: Ciar Meara on 02/02/2004 11:59:53 Indeed, what is this running to Curse territory every time we launch a raid to aprehend terrorist.
CVA does not have an intrest whatsover in Curse, we are just an alliance of loyalist amarr corperations dedicated to the defence of the Empire, what in the name of the Emperor could we want with the Curse region, which is (for now) bordering on the Republics space.
I feel like the the Curse alliance is just a nice thing to hide behind if you are a terrorist, as soon as you hear of a Amarr fleet aproching you can just go hide in the wildlands.
To quote Viccarah: look at them running, the wimps Or do put it in another way: Do they ever leave the Wildlands?
Then again even minmtars are not stupid enough, to face an Amarr loyalist fleet. It seems the only one really interesing in defending Minmatar territory and honor was Hobswan who engaged us several time in his scorp, but was forced to dock and wait until we left every time.

It's always heartening to see the so-called defenders of the Minmatar Republic leave Minmatar space as soon as a large fleet enters.
It's that sort of attitude that allowed us to offer our hospitality to their forefathers.
