after DT trium tried that scary ship called obelisk out and moved it about in venal. we had a good time sitting waiting for 8 minutes while it warped 240aus in 9-2 when we gots intel on evil people around.
while trying different stunts to still pass the obelisk throu behind their backs we finally reached the destination in the upper rims of venal.
we grabbed what we came for and set sails back to the mother land again when the evil razor pilots had camped our outbound jump in point. we set plans for engagement since our hauler support is equal to their just that they where sniping and we where manly fitted with close range pew pew guns.
we intiate our plans to grab em by the tail and pwn em, wich we whould've done with no probs. except they fire a cyno and drops 4 thanatos's on us. in this first smooth little dish-out we loose a mega.
"wth wtf wtc" our fleet is diveded and we set plans to their cheap cynoing skills and forms up yet again in the mother land with newly fitted ships and even bigger ships. our traveling gang goin up to the upper rims to pick up the obelisk again is still the same in numbers. and we start going home again with no sign of razor "wth wtf wtc our plan will fail" but...
they catch up on us comeing from tenal or some other pretty nooby region. and we gets dem bigger ship realy ready and we jump into their sniping gang and engages.
yet again they cyno on us. but we has cyno as well.
rest is pretty obviouse by looking at the stats.
7bs's, 2 hac's, 1 inty, 4 thanatos, 1 chimera, 1 revelation and 1 moros downed
3 bs's where lost
thank you razor for a good fight it's was realy fun.

Inzi forgot to mention we got a revelation too ... kinda hard to fight dual accounting but it pays off ... at least we showed what we`re made of !
ps special thanks for all tri who had patience on a hot sunday like that to dont look @ nadal vs federer and pay back to this pvp wannabees and show them that even they mostly suck i mean never engage equally and stuff like that always try to get another 2-3 alliance blob on tri they can loose ...

Was a nice fight. Maybe not the most even fight ever, but after fighting outnumbered constantly, I personally don't mind blobbing every now and then

Blob? maybe u dont get it but they were not willing to fight fleet vs. fleet and dropped in cap ships.
All we did was return the favor.
My fritter was dangled as a nice bait and they went for it.
Tactics and counter tactics. Most of us were sure we lost attleast 2 cap ships but we didnt.
I'd say RZR and D2 showed balls doing the same thing a few hours apart.
Second time it just bit them in the ass thats all. GF i'd say and it was fun.

The stone age didn't end because we ran out of stones!

So Tri tries to do a stand-up fight and gets 4 carriers dropped on them, and when they pull the same stunt suddenly they're the bad guys? Well, they're always the bad guys, but you know what I mean  .
They outmaneuvered their enemies twice, once to get away almost scot-free from a trap, and then to give the enemies some of their own medicine. I think that's pretty worthy of respect (not that Tri didn't have it before).
*waves Tri fanboi flag a bit more*
By the way, I've never been part of Tri and have ALWAYS been shot by them, but I still think they're one of the best PVP groups around.

Can the coalition ever have a go at Tri for having a better cap fleet than them?
No, end of the day our battleship fleet of no more than 60-100 has to face up to 200-300 of them regulary and they would have a titan and mothership for good measures. So excuse me if I don't get too sad when I see people from the coalition cry blob.
Doesn't wash off on me. If you don't want to be in such a situation. Make more capitals.

Just a little comment of my own:
Rzr/Pandemic/d2/MM have been giving TRI many good fights, were currently locked in fights with them every day. Today was a significant part of that fight (in a broader longer term sense of the word). This was the first capital engagement we have had, and we were happy to have won it. Our freighter was carrying vital supplies for our caps.
We initially went against Rzr in VG- when they brought in capitals, and I will say i wasnt expecting it so it did catch us off guard, luckily we hadent started the attack with our full force. After the gang getting split up we formed another, but had another gang of roughly 20 capitals waiting at one of our POS's. Slowly the fleet moved over and headed back, the enemies started taking interest again, and having brought in interdictors and coming across the same razor sniper fleet we were getting excited at the prospect of complete capital gankage.
In O-B the fleets clashed, the enemy cyno went down jumping in 4 carriers. Then the call was made for our cyno to drop. At this time they had 4 capitals and we had 20. After we began engaging with our capitals i had a small panic when they jumped in more, i was thinking they had double trapped us, but only a few more enemy capitals came through. With a tad over double the enemies cap fleet, and seeing as it was comprised mostly of carriers while we had quite a few dreads we dominated the field pretty easily.
This was a trap for their trap, we were lucky that they decided to do it twice in the same day. It was luck on our side and a mistake on theirs, one im sure they will not make again.
I have no doubt this is just the start of clashes to come.

Was a fun fight, not even or fair but as dark said it was more like a trap. Props to rzr/d2 for bringing out the big guns lets hope for alot more fights.
p.s. on blobbage everyone does it rzr/d2 included nothign to be proud of inz's report like mingings is about how it was fun and saluting the otherside.

"Oh look we have 3 known Hac pilots in a station. lets camp them in with 7 cruisers- 14 Hacs - 25 battleships and 5 carriers."
Tri do very well , no taking that away from them , but they are the ultimate masters of total overkill and blob warfare.
When faced with equal shiptypes and numbers they refuse to fight until they can blob.
Nothing wrong with that, that is their tactics, but I personally prefer those who win by skill and tactics than blob

oh yes I do I was the hauler (on my alt) you managed to kill with 64 in system, most Tri with a few PA with Only 5 friendlies (to me) docked (Pandemic Legion) and you had a T2 large bubble, 3 carriers 10+ battleships , and an ass load of HACs, cruisers and Frigates. the best bit was the Snigg guy I was in convo with after getting popped pointed out that of the 5 in system 3 were AFK and had been for hours, one wass sorting out industry stuff the rest of the aliance were having a field day killing Sparta and he himself was in curse on his alt making a fortune ratting.
I sat in H-PA for a while and I have to say you guys are persistent, you camped no-one in for hours

Hey quit dissing TRI.
They were very good allies to us during the initial southern campaign - they proved they have brains, balls, and loyalty - I for one had good times flying with some of them.
I know that events made them take their separate path to us, but this was a clever op tidily pulled off, and however ****ed off we are that we lost a fight, you should respect a job well done.

As an alliance now TRI can and does blob, we will camp very few in with completely ridiculous ammounts of forces and capitals. Thats because we dont like people living with us. We do trap, we do blob and ill admit it but then who doesnt, unfortunately a blob is the most effective way of beating an enemy, while not being the most enjoyable. But we fight outnumbered or on even odds just as much as we do blob, there are engagements proving such on our killboards which are open for all to view.
Razor have shown themselves to be very mature and respectable enemies. We ganked them completely and theyre saying nice one, it speaks alot about their quality.
