Hi guys..
i am at dilemma: I have both mentioned MWDs. I am fitting them on hyperion with ion blasters and nice resists.
fitted, they give me this stats:

with Domi, i can go 1029m/s, with Core, i can go 1161 m/s. If i fit Core, i have to exchange DC II for best named (loosing 2% on structure resists). Core MWD eats more Cap and give me larger sig radius (which i think isnt a problem, i get 500% from domi, so that extra 160% want make a huge different, i'm not fighting against dreads..)
What to choose? Will that 140m/s make any difference in PvP in exchange for larger cap usage (i do have cap booster with 800 charges..)?

what is the rest of your fitting?
140 m/s wont make much of a difference in pvp. use t2 if the rest of your setup isnt all faction-like

with t2 mwd, comparing to domi i get this stats:

and small change in max speed. So t2 is out of the question coz of high cap usage in comparison to domi and same fittings reqs..
The rest of the fitting isnt important..i use blasters and have web fitted with resists all over 75%.
Why wouldnt i use just one faction module? Its not like i'm getting any extra bonuses if i fit everything faction..

Get yurself a Vindi and train up Minnie BS to V and you'll have more cap with a MWD fitted than without 
Might as well go for the Core then.

I prefer using Domination. Its more gentle to the cap (helps even if you fly a vindi) and doesnt make your signature as large (if that matter to you).
And defiantly domi over T2 no matter the rest of the setup. A domi mwd goes for what? 30 m? It's worth it.

Between both I would use the domi.
However, if the whole spectrum is available (and you have at least 125 free grid with the domi mwd fitted) I would recommend to get a gist x-type. It's the best of both worlds, same cpu and energy useage as the domi and an even bigger speed boost than the core.
The downside is that it gives you an even bigger sig penality (ohnoes) and is more expensive than either.

Any reason why you're not considering gist MWDs? The gist ones use the same reduced cap as the domination, without the same harsh CPU reqs as the Core. C-Types are fairly affordable - they won't get quite the same speed as a Core X-Type but I'd definitely choose a Gist C-Type over a Core X-Type any day.

Agreed, always use any Gist-type over any Core-type any day of the week.
As for the Domi vs. Core, I'd say Domi. Lower cap use is better than 140 m/s max speed.

TBH, unless you are fighting a dread, I wouldn't worry about a battleship's sig radius.

Well, How much does gist go for these days? I really dont wanna spend more ISk on one module then whole ship is worth..
I think i'll stick with domi then.
Vindi is out of the question, i cannot afford it yet..

Searching in the contracts is not THAT difficult. 
Also, remember that there are others than x-types.
