I noticed recently that when i was completing agent missions the effective standing displayed in the agent window wasn't rising. Today i happened to check my full Lai Dai standings and noticed that the effective standing displayed when i conversed with my Lai Dai agent was exactly the same as my Caldari faction rating. I can only surmise that this is an SQL error and the wrong field is being fetched from the database. 
Has anyone else noticed this?

Not quite the same thing but I have noticed that standings have not been updating properly for some time (probably due to the db issues) but this morning skyrocketed instead.

Another standing related issue is my inability to be able to view my own corp's standing with NPC corporations. I had to get some other player in the help channel today to tell me what my corps standings were with Lai Dai. I've been running missions for Lai Dai for a few days and i have no standings showing in my corporation/politics panel for any NPC corps at all. Apparently they're all neutral towards me which is definitely wrong as i've ran about 8 or 9 missions in the past few days since starting my new corp. I never had this issue with my last corp, caldari navy standings showed up right away and i could view compositions too.

Only a few days? Just don't worry. There are few possibilities with the standing not showing :
1/ You have a standing with the agent that is lower than the standing you have with caldari state or the corp. Then, you see the HIGHER one. Check the "relationship" tab when in the agent show info.
2/ The corp standings are delayed, you begin to have a standing with the corp, but the corp standing will take time to get up to your current level, if it's very close to 0, it does not show (I have that with some corps/factions that my diplomacy gets to 0).
3/ Might be a cache issue, anyway, it will be ok in some time, until the data is considered obsolete. Don't mess with the cache if ou don't know how to clean it.

I guess your probably right on this point. Standings in the relationship tab of agent info do seem correct.

My standing is low with Lai Dai so i understand that not showing but my Caldari Navy standings are 9.9 and they don't show either. I have high personal standings with other corps too and none of them show either.
