This thought just came to me. Titans and moms can't dock. So the pod pilot finds a quiet system, makes sure he's not flaged and logs. The ship disappears.
What if you want to fly a shuttle or a bs? You just eject from your titan or mom, leave it there in space for anyone to find it? I would be too scared to do that.
So, i'm just thinking that your pod can't ever leave the inside of a titan or mom... they are probably the best ships to fly but, at the same time, think it sucks that you wont be able to fly anything else once your pod enters one super capital. ... or am I missing something? |

You can setup a POS somewhere with the allow corp/alliance boxes unticked and park the supercap inside a capital ship maintenance array at that POS. Probably not going to do it much though :P

Edited by: Tasuric Orka on 11/06/2007 18:03:06 You are not missing anything, that's how it is. Only ignorant people leave their supercapitals, or simply have enough money to deal with a loss in the case of a Mother.
Even POS aren't safe, with all the bumpage and hackage going on around those lately.

you log on your Other account and let another member sign on the titan pilot? isnt that what some of the tinfoil-hattery is about now and then?

That is a simple solution of course. But the 2nd account thing wasn't the point of my post. More the issue of a pod pilot becoming captain of a super capital and never flying another ship again. Unless he ejects at a POS but, tbh, this would scared me also

You park it on an alt account with minimal skills or have an account specifically dedicated to flying a supercap.
Obviously the 2nd option is more attractive to those unsavory alliances which violate the EULA via account sharing.

If you can afford a Mothership/Titan, you can afford to buy an alt to **** about with. Speaking of which, I have a 50m SP alt I'm looking to sell, they're free to buy him off me, heh.
