(More POS mods for the average corp, plz?) I enjoy crafting (both in this and in other MMOs) but EvE has a truly boreing system for it. I'd like to see some sort of mini-game where we mine more or less a cycle rather then just point our lasers and drones at rock, pull trigger, jet can, repeat. (Would totally give macros the shaft) Industry might have a tetris style mini-game or something. Maybe have some sort of RP quotient linked to the suggested ability to walk around stations. B) Will CCP ever adopt a similar policy to other MMOs where staff are not premitted to have personal characters on the public servers? (If rumor is to be belived, disbanding BoB in the process...) I've done game testing work for some other MMOs, mostly beta tests, and have never seen so many staff members in the public server, and never seen so many allegations of corruption (real or otherwise). Could you provide an example szenario as to how that comitee could technically reveal unfiltered information while visiting your offices in iceland ?

Not really, if you go back and read through the main posts made by those in bob you will see that they were directed at the characters and corporations specifically and were done in such a way that they were not oog nor ooc attacks, although we definitely received plenty of them (mommy's basement counterstrike kiddie accusations etc etc). Maybe you will find one or two completely out of order posts by bob members but they should be punished too. However, this is more about where we go from here than retrospective blame game. There are players in eve currently who are quite happy to abuse players in real life and attack CCP as a company and it will be interesting to see if a harder line is going to be drawn for those players. First, very good questions, those are same two for me plus some suggestions : 1) if devs can have characters in eve online, then make them unable to use their dev capabilities in-game to benefit them or others, and make that available to GMs (that's THEIR JOB) , which would not be allowed to have characters in-game (so devs would be able to have characters but no super powers whatsoever, and gms have super powers but only for fixing things) and i don't care if they would like this or not...they are being paid from our MONEY not for them to ruin the whole gameplay. 2) When will CCP eventually fire T20 ? again, if i would have a company with 200 000 customers and i would make 3 million dollars a month i would care more for player oppinion rather than thinking if that employee deserves a second punishment for bringing 8 billion ISk just from the Sabre BPO to he's corporation, i am mining and making missions like hell and still can't make those money, why would someone can by cheating ? 3) If you plan to not be so correct by manipulating the overseers of CCP activity (the thing with 9 players, etc), then don't make it. If the rumors are true that the volunteer kicked out was in fact kicked because he annoyed another dev, then it's useless(and there are some strong screenshots and eye witnesses of this out there). 4) normal things : when is going to be available the "walk in station" thing? And if it's going to be available why would you make it so violent. I am walking down a corridor to go to a meeting and one guy just stabs me or throws a grenade at me ? That's ridiculous. Fighting is outside of a station. Usually in space station you can't go loaded with guns, it would be very dangerous if you would hit a critical system or something. So that would be childish. 5) Mining is very important but is very boring and all the improvements are being made in pvp where all the devs have their heads into...not mining....that would'nt be what you call "let them play to improve gameplay for ALL players" if i said something wrong here...sry...but those are just my questions. It wouldn't surprise me if the CEO would avoid all the questions regarding the scandals and things. But well that's like. I am playing because i like the idea...but ccp...not anymore. I only have one rule: Everyone fights, no one quits.

widgetman Widgetland	Posted - 2007.06.13 12:22:00 - [60] Hello. as a long term Eve player i'm still a Solo Player , and wonder if any further content within Eve in the Future maybe will include solo players more?? I see that with the last few years of progression alot of Eve has been about Motherships, and Alliances, and the alliance competitions on Eve TV etc.... ( which were good to watch by the way ) I dont mind the progression of Alliance , and corperation content its just i feel that Solo players in Eve get forgotten sometimes. if you dont feel the need for Capital Ships etc, then finding skills to train becomes tricky.
