I'm finally at the point with my alt that I am considering throwing up a pos to do research and a little moon mining. The thing that is keeping me from doing so atm is not the investment, I've got the isk to do it, but rather difficulties I'm having linking POS structures on test server.
I can't seem to link silos and to the moon harvesters. I'm following the basic guide, but I'm not really sure what I'm doing wrong.
Any suggestions would be great.

And note all the links that others posted below. It did the trick for me. Pretty easy once you figure it out. Hindsight=20/20

Why thank you for the smart***** completely unhelpful response! I was, however, perhaps, looking for something different, perhaps a suggestion that I'm using the wrong silo, or I'm doing something incorrectly.
But thanks anyway.

Hi,
had the same problems when I did that the first time.
Just for your info, im at work and try my best to explain this to you.
Online: Both Modules, Harvester and Silo need to be online
Moon Mineral: Under Manage Tower you can see Production. Select a Moon Mineral that you want to harvest. This should appear "Icon for the Moon Mineral" on the right Hand side of the Moon Harvester.
Now Drag&Drop this ICON to the left hand side of the Silo
APPLY: After that press the Apply Button on the Bottom to save these changes.
To know you did everything right you can take a look on that Production Screen again.
The Moon Harvester should have the Moon Mineral ICON on the right hand side and show the numbers 1/1 (= input/output)
The Silo should have the same ICON on the left hand side showing the numbers 1/- (there is the input from the Harvester but no output)
Hope that works just try it out on Test Server so you dont loose time and money :)

Wow man,, I thought I was helping. What I told you is how I helped myself! Perhaps I should have looked it up for you and linked directly to the exact solution. Maybe taken 30 minutes to do so?! I took the time to reply,, while i might add nobody else was.
Whatever,, hope you got it figured out. I learned something tho,,, if I don't know the exact answer and only know where to look,, keep it to myself.
