I logged in this morning. I was in 0.0 sitting in station, unable to rat because I lost my BS (not to mention a lot of SP) to a total farce, so I decide to take me and my Taranis up empire side to do some pirating.
So first thing that happens is, after 15 jumps of empty space, I find my way into empire blocked by a blob-camp.
Thanks to "Bubble Magnetism", yet another 'undocumented feature', I make a very narrow escape, and have to go another 13 jumps to get into empire.
Once there, what do I find. Empty systems, systems with station-jockies, systems with +s, systems with blobs. Due to my lovely -2.0 sec status (which I am proud of) It will be roughly 120 jumps to the nearest enemy territory.
Blobs. Undocumented Features. Meta-Game affairs that shall not be spoken of. Anyone else feeling the, erm, not feeling the urge to log in? What should I do? - "The Mains Created the alts They rebelled They look...and feel...human Some are programmed to think they are human There are many alts. Join a better corp / alliance. EVE is an MMO, its not intended to always be played solo. Get some pirate friends, join SNIGG or something, and go to town. You want to rat? Join a corp that secures their ratting grounds better. If you do that, they'd probably loan you the cash for a new BS.

What game have you started playing and never stopped playing and having fun every day?
Every game gets old after a while.
If anyhting EVE lasted longer then any others.
I'm still going strong but do not to expect to forever.
Do what you want to EVE, as long as nothing fun is taken away and anything new is fun.

Since when is "bubble magnetism" undocumented? From the interdiction sphere launcher description: "Built for use with interdictor-class vessels, this launcher produces a warp disruption sphere capable of pulling passing vessels out of warp." Anchorable bubbles work precisely the same, it's no secret.

By that it means that the bubble makes you drop out of warp. Not that it literally pulls you out of warp. If that was true, why don't bubbles pull from any angle?

They do, as long as it's inline with your warp path. It says it pulls you out of warp, and that's exactly what it does.
I'll admit the description is open to some degree of interpretation, how you managed to entirely miss this little part of 0.0 mechanics, however, I cannot fathom.

Miss? No. I just don't like it. It makes little sense that it acts as a magnet dropping out, but for some reason, you can move 1 meter away from it and warp. Either way its pretty cheap if you ask me. - "The Mains Created the alts They rebelled They look...and feel...human Some are programmed to think they are human There are many alts. Lets do a quick translation of this thread:
1) I forgot to update my clone 2) I got killed in 0.0 at a bubble camp because I don't know how warp bubbles work 3) I have sort of low sec status (which I claim to be proud of) so I have to go around highsec 4) I have too many NAPs in my corp 5) If anyone calls me out for anything I have done as stupid, I immediately call them a troll and go into seige mode
I think you should immediately cancel your account and find a game that makes you happy.

Quick translation of your post -
1 ) I have nothing better to do with my life than flame others
2 ) Wait, thats about it.
FYI I didn't die. And I'm not specifically playing about that. Theres a lot about eve I think is moving in the wrong direction. And thats what I'm talking about.
I'm going to set up a forum specifically for people to troll it.
But yeah. My Alliance has too many NAPs.

Well like it or not, they're part of 0.0 life, the topic has been debated to death.
If what you're doing now in eve isn't fun for you, look for something new to do. If eve really has nothing to offer you, then it's just not worth your subscription fee.

OOOoooo how creative you are with bold text.
You didn't die but you lost SP? So you're a liar and a whiner? (Look ma I can bold text too!) I'm wasn't really flaming you, but here's some heat. You are doing what every other crybaby does that gets on these forums after they get killed and then you're trying to pretend that you're not just complaining. Trying to cover for your whining with phrases like "light sarcasm" and covering your weak skills with "I don't like the direction the game is going". Your post is a thinly veiled attempt to pile on to every other thread where someone has gone into 0.0 and been unprepared for death. You said you have "another" T2 mega or whatever ship. Sounds like you were flying unescorted in a BS in 0.0 and not using a scout. That sound familiar? Thats how you die. Every time. And not upgrading your clone is just plain unacceptable.
Maybe you think I have too much time on my hands to come and answer your thread, but maybe you shouldn't post if you don't want people to read about the dumb things you have put yourself through.

Either get a new computer for one, as I hardly ever have any lag worth mentioning. Second, what I was trying to say is that most people use lag as an excuse for their poor gameplay when in reality they had no lag at all. It is a tough call, but most often times it is a lesser player who lost a battle who whines about lag. You don't see BoB members whining about losing ships all the time to lag do you? But the people they are always crushing sure cry loud enough to make up for it. RISE Recruitment Thread

You're right. I suck at this game, I couldn't possibly be good enough to enter 0.0.
I am just whining after all. I have no brain and my E-Peen could use one of those pills I always get E-Mails for.
You are 100% right after all, I loaded my BS with all my ISK and stuff and flew it through Curse uprotected. I Cntrl Q'd the instant I saw a neutral in local, but it wasn't enough.
Jeez, now I remember why I don't post here often. Go on, shoo . Don't you have other people to troll, or am I your only appointment for tonight. Damn you make me sick.

@OP
Is that all?
I lost about 250 mil twice recently, and my total worth is about 1-2 bil, so it was a pretty nasty hit. I've ninja'd through hostile turf, been blown apart numerous times, lost out on bubbles and had long 20+jump journeys,,, in fact every day I log on I do 13 jump trips multiple times in a hauler.
I think EVE is still fantastic. Improve Market Competition! |

Oh, I get that urge to not log in all the time. So I don't. Then I go out and do something like ride a bicycle, excersise, read a book, shoot strangers . . . who shoot back at me, gripe about how electronic markers are ruining paintball, and in general, not play eve. Then there are other times that I do feel like logging in, and I run missions, or laugh at my corp for being out in 0 and killing everyone. I've had enough of moving, and when I am sure wabout what i'm goign to be doing at the end of the summer, i'll make my desicion about whether i'll follow them out there. oh for goodness sake.
I lost a 700m fitted crow 2 days ago. I got podded twice in a day and forgot to update my clones so byebye BS lvl 5 and byebye one of the engineering skills (cant remember which) at level 5.
Shift happens.
Lag doesn't stop a clone from being made. You forgot.
The fact that you have a low sec status is your own fault, not the games'. That's why you can't enter empire.
Bubbles have always worked like that.
You sarcastically say you aren't experienced enough to enter 0.0. Well, I'm afraid it seems you are not actually experienced enough. You didn't update your clone, now you can't fly some ships any more. That's your fault.
Why do you say people are trolling? It's the truth. Why did you make this thread? Were you expecting people to give you sympathy? Guess what - it's happened to everyone here at one point or another. We've all forgotten the clone at least once, we've all lost "that ship" that cost us a lot of isk. But 99% of us don't start a thread on it. Heck, if I started a thread for every ship I lost, they'd need to start a "Ralara's lost ships" forum just for me!
Either get over it, go make some isk and try again, or don't. Very simple. Good luck.
