Mine have broken 2 so far. I'm using a logitec right now. Not child resistant I'm afraid. |

No headset is child proof. I would go oldschool radio setup. Mic and speakers. Thats what i use. Works half decently.

I bought these a bit ago, but left them in my GF's car by accident just before I moved to the other side of the US. I think they're great- awesome sound, and the most comfortable pair I've ever had. They're a bit pricey but you said money wasn't an object.

I'm on my second one of these too. First one had dodgy wiring and second one, the mic broke. I still fits in, but I have keep my head still.

This logitec one has lasted me for about 8 months now The one I had before it lasted me about 2 1/2 years, but logitec doesn't make them anymore

The mic fell out of mine too, but I was able to rig it to stay in - ducktape ftw

I use these and find them great if you want to be able to also listen to the tv or radio in the background

Bah. Logitechs :O
If money really is no object then Steel Sound 5H V2s are great for gaming. It's well-liked by the CS community and it really does help with 3D sound positioning, and the snake microphone is hella cool.
But if you plan on listening to music with your headphones, I highly recommend buying a separate mic and headphones.

Get a bluetooth headset, no wires and too small to damage. Works great for me (student home ;P) [right]--- McDuff, Jlabs sr. member and diplomat. "Everyone speaks of my drinking, but never of my thirst" Everyone can now start bowing down to me in an orderly fashion... [url="http://mem |

Buy real Headphones (sennheiser hd 201 are reasonable) and the zalman mic that you can plug onto the cable of your headphones. voila.
