NPC pirates can fire Flameburst light missles from 90km+ and they reach me in less than six seconds. No way is this right.
Also, NPC pirates can fire missles from behind asteroids and they no sooner fire the missles and I'm hit by them, even when 50km+ away.
I understand you wanted to make the NPC pirates more difficult but at least make them follow the same physical rules we have to. Sheesh.

I've heard the missiles they fire are at least Tech II.
Some even say they're Tech V

Since were only on tech two ITEMS why the hell would a ship with tech two launchers and possible tech 5 missles only be dropping Tech 1 Loot...
Yeah back the crane up we got to get CCPS foot out of its mouth again and its really jammed in their this time.
IF your gonna shoot me with a with a ship with supermods then dang it make the dumb thing drop some supermods when I finally fire my 300th missle at it so i can at least die with a smile on my face as I go to pick up that can and  the next spawn warps in on top of me and blows me into space dust.......

I put a bug petition in as it happened to me too. I was hiding behind asteriods so the missles would impact on them and all the sudden I was taking damage and the missles were hitting some 30 km away from me.
Put in a petition too, maybe it will get fixed... soon

ehm... they warp scramble with strength 2 from 20km and webbify from 35km range. But hardly 100km...
