I admit, the first couple days after Castor I mined ark until I had enough for a couple battleships. And then I destroyed all of my mining equipment and vowed "never again."
They good thing about being on the offensive is that you can just not die instead of worrying about replacement ships :)
Well, delete +mining+ and insert whatever you guys do for isk. Yes you guys no doubt make isk off loot but I can't imagine it would be enough to reequip your fleet 2-3x if needed. And I can't imagine that many people are gonna eject for yall :)
Anyways, like I say, don't know the inner workings of you guys, but the above system would prob work well in an alliance enviroment. Everyone has their own method ofc, just think what ends posted was way more complicated then what is needed. imho

m0o works nothing like Evolution, everyone sort of does their own finances here. I think between us we have around 5-6 battlship originals.

I like this plan, but I think 1.75 million for non members and 1 million for members. I especially like the idea of the guards getting paid. Logistics are no biggie one guard keeps track of who was there and such, and another is in charge of collecting tolls. If you have 100 people guarding a gate the lag alone will prevent attacks.

They have no money to pay rewards.
They will have no money until they enforce payment of tolls and that system runs without a hitch for a considerable time and ONLY then if FIX activity sky-rockets (and meanwhile they dont lose any ships or pay any rewards).
Which they can't enforce without a navy.
Which they don't have as they have no money to rebuild it.
Not too mention that the expectation that "somebody else" will fight bravely for you when you wont fight yourself is a wild shot in the dark, the plan destroys the entire concept of "free space" and that the senate just voted "no" to almost the exact same plan.
I mean ive heard about not learning from history but this was only about 4 days ago... not exactly ancient history.
And what are you going to do when people refuse to pay tolls or just motor through in a group ignoring you? Start another war? Ban them and thus hurt your own income?
"Pie in the sky" is a phrase that springs to mind. "Unworkable" is another one. "Wishfull thinking" a third.

Enough to side with m0o and sell the rest of the CFS and "free space" down the river eh?
Interesting, but i don't think that will get you elected.
Maybe you are planning other ways to take control of the CFS, that bypass democratic elections, if they vote against you eh?
