I for once totally agree with you.
My 4 hours roam trough Stain in my Vaga last night:
- Scanned down at least 10 battleships who cloaked or logged off.
- Had 3 Battleships jumping into me as i was landing on gate. All 3 logged off and i watched all 3 dissapearing from my eyes.
- A Hauler logged of after jumping to me. It didn't saved him nor his stabs saved him.
- A Claymore that was waiting me on gate, i for a moment wanted to give it a go but its a suicide so i decided i love my Vaga and moved on.
Without few simple changes Solo PvP and Small roaming PvP is dead in this game. Changes such as this:
- Remove local. Or make it like Alliance channel. U see number of people and nothing else. If you talk in it u appear in it. It would make people learn how to use scanner which is good thing in my opinion. It will also give you a chance. It was bad enough before but they at least had to check info to see if u were hostile or not. With introduction of red crosses in local all small roarings and solo roarings got as good as Dead.
- Introduce aggression timer from NPCs same as there is one from PvP. U shoot npc, u log off, u are in space scan able for 15 minutes. Sorts logofskies problem.
- Make cloaked ships scan able.
- Fix ships dissapearing after u scramble it or at least double time from 30 seconds to 2 minutes.
But of course all this is just wasted 10 minutes to make this post. Like CCP cares.
Oh and...
Good job IAC. It was your Hauler that died while stabbed and logged off. With 80 k Mjolnir torps.
