Now before I go on, I understand this goes on and I am not the first last or even the most hard done by, but I need to do this to some how exercise the sheer P**sed off feeling I have.
Over last week our corp have been mining hard to accumulate the required minerals to build a Raven, my first BS. Last night I was expecting to log on to find it sitting ready in my hanger for me to take out for a spin.
Was it there... No! One of our directors had decided that he had in someway been hard done by and taken it as recompense. For the record the guys name is GHIM, so if he comes looking for a home be warned.
Now the most bitter part of the whole thing was that GHIM and I were good mates and had been through thick and thin together. After chatting to him and trying to reason with him and explain that if he gave the ship back(which was already sold) then all would be forgiven. He did explain it wasn't directed at me but as it was my ship that was taken I can't help but feel me that lost the most.
I don't ask for any sympathy and I know I can make another in time, I just had to get it off my chest.
I can't believe how annoyed I got at a game. If eve does nothing else it does get the emotions flowing.

Glad you're going to continue. ISK loss ain't really a bad thing - the art of making ISK is really more of knowing the game than it is anything else. And having worked your way all the up to a Raven I presume you know enough about the game to get back on your feet...
What matters really is the game knowledge and the character skillpoints. Keep those up and you'll be fine in a week's time :)

We will have the isk to buy a new one in no time, infact the guy who robbed the ship gave me 40 million to try and smooth things over with me. Which in the face of it was better than nothing but still... But its the trust that was broken, I don't trust all and am not a fool to think all are honest, I'm not. But after 4 months you would think you know someones personality enough to think they could not do such a thing.
I could rant all day about this but at the end of the day its not real and in about 10 minutes I will be over it.

Pychian Vanervi, you are better off without him tbh! I was in Sibot a few days ago, when GHIM showed up in the dom and started to threaten my self and a few friends of mine.
Luckily for him we had to go bake cookies, so we docked and left him to smack talk in local.
When the cookies were done we undocked to deliver them to the old-pirates home (its good to look after the old folk) and GHIM shows up 30km from the station and starts firing! The horror!! Imagine my fear, thinking the old ppl wont get there cookies! However some1 at the station agreed with me, and the sentry guns blazed into action and soon had him in his pod Thx for the toys and the drones GHIM!
So as you can see... not only untrustworthy but also a complete muppet

Add a liar to that, the story we got in corp chat was something completely different to that there was no mention of sentry guns!!
Well he is gone now and I hope our paths will never cross again. I just hope no one else is subjected to his so called friendship!!

Alltough EVE is an alternate 'save' world. The people are real, so is they're doing.
This happens in all multiplayer games.
Just keep your skills, thats all there is to it!

1. Yes the game can be very hard when you can't trust.
2. Nympho Hunter maybe you should rethink your statement. Quote: yeah - it blows when a mate screws you.
3. So which is it (blow or screw)?
I could apologize for (3)
Stop griping about server instability and go buy an EVE mug!
Additionally with the purchase of each mug you will receive two(2) invisible Elves.

Heh reminds me of a story back in the day.
I got EVE the 3rd day after launch (didn't hit the shelves here until then) and began mining in an ibis, got myself a bantam and continued to mine that night. During that mining i was helping out a lot of people in corp chat since i used to be in beta and in the process got a group of people together for a bit of mining and hauling. Made some friends that i trust to this day in the process. so the next night me and the other 2 people i mined with decided to create a corp. Over the next few days we mined like crazy to save up for a badger, heh back then a badger was really expensive but it would help out with the mining a lot. So in the process we picked up a few new members, 1 of which ended up the 1.5 mil we saved up on the first few days to buy the badger.
Instead of quitting we created a new corp and worked a lot harder to earn back the money, we ended up buying one of the first merlin BPO's on the market and went into manufacturing them. Made a good deal of money and bought some cruisers for ourselves early on. Got some sweet revenge next time the person who backstabbed us flew by.
Funny thing is that if you look at the very first war listed (the longest active war) under "Other Wars" in game, thats between us and the theif. _______________
