Ok this is some sort of way to get isk VERY quick by the looks of it. I have seen around 50 + characters all about 2 months old, with stupid names in Jovainnon All in Betowers and shuttles doing Level 4 agents in Storage. There are around 8 or more Storage agents in a Station and looking at there standings they are all about 9.99 with most agents?? How can they gain this much standing and only be 2 months old......not with just 1 or 2 but about 8 of them??? They fly around between Old Man Star and Jovainnon all day? Or are level 4 Storage missions really easy?? Someone has realised this and is capitalising in extreme fashion i reckon. Any clues?

As hard as moving stuff from station A to station B can be. As long as they don't use macros there is nothing wrong with it. --
There are countless games in the world. There are at least as many ppl that dont like one or more rules of said games. That never stopped smart game designers from creating good games.

They might be part of an event or something. People have been seeing a bunch of newer players with weird names in pods, rookie ships, indys, and some other ships. Most of them turned out to be an event of some sort. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

If all you did were courier missions 23x7, you would build up that kind of rep as well.

Level 4 courier missions are not an exploit. The pay offered for courier missions is exceedingly less than what you get for combat missions. Less risk, less pay. For example:
Level 4 courier = approx. 500 LP + 500k ISK Level 4 combat = approx. 2500 LP + 5mil ISK (easily)
Also, the jump your get (per mission) to a corp standing is greater for eac combat mission. Additionally, if the local storyline agent you get after 16 missions (courier or combat) is working for the same corp you're doing missions for, you get a big jump in faction rating.
2 or 3 months doing courier missions to get a 9.9 rating? Yeah, that seems about right. You'd get that same 9.9 rating faster if you did combat missions though.

Edited by: Christari Zuborov on 14/06/2007 15:40:13 I forget who, but I saw someone offering services to improve your corporations faction standing above 8.0 in a very short period of time. It's easy to see how someone could accomplish that when looking at these individuals. They join your corp, run bazillions of macro missions, a week later they quit and find the next corp that pays 300mill isk.
Most certainly not the way the normal Joe earns his way in this game.

Last I recall lvl 4 courier missions didn't pay out anything like that when I asked for them. They were essentially the same as lvl 1, same mission reward and everything etc. 2,200 lp for moving 3000 m3 into what kind of system and how far? ---

They don't even need sweatshops for those; just macros.
That's why they do them even though profit is relatively low; you can just macro dozens of them.

Why does everyone assume that its a macro/sweatshop/isk-seller right off the bat?
It's the rushing to assumptions and being as absolutly annoying to anyone who doesn't speak your language that drives off anyone who's different from you.

Odds are they are being farmed for storyline implants.
Do 16 fedex missions, get a new story line one.
Why do you think +4's are so cheap now?

Appalling how accusations of farming are so freely thrown at war enemies and people with different playstyles/nationalities
it's juvenile, and certainly doesn't address with actual farming

Funny, they ARE macros. Not the best ones either. Me and a few of my corp mates decided to pay them a visit a few months back. We got 7-10 hauler kills, including the same pilots multiple times. One of them actually agressed an astarte in a bestower. Needless to say, there was much laughter, podding, and sharing of loots (Dollies!).
There's a good number of them too, as many as 20-30, though probably not all the same person.

If there are 50 players with randomized names doing the exact same thing with the exact same timings who don't respond to convos or anything, they're not real players.
