On one of my alts, it takes me 15 days, 5 hours, 5 minutes and 48.3 seconds to train 1 million skill points for any Perc/Wil skill. So I train just shy of 24 million skill points a year.
That's with +5 implants, Clarity level 5, Focus level 5 and almost the max in base stats. (I could have gotten one more willpower point I think at character creation if I had taken 3 more CHA points and a big hit on int/mem). _____ Lifewire is a big, ugly, mean... carebear. |

2310 SP/hr at the moment here. My Achura alt cooks along at 2442 SP/hr with just +3s. Balanced 'lo-sec suprise sex' alt is chugging along at 1717.
I'm sure the Achuras with +5 implants (read: 33 int/23 mem) can better all of these numbers by a wide margin. =)

Doesn't it work out at Primary Stat + (Secondary Stat / 2) every minute or something?
If that's right then 1976 per hour suggests you have both stats around 20. Or just an ungodly high primary stat for the skill you're training.

Edited by: Jimer Lins on 14/06/2007 22:19:43 I do fairly well, athough if I had it do to over again I might have gone a teensy bit different with some of my attributes. As it stands, I make about 1800-2200 per hour depending on the skill I'm training:
Int 23 Per 20 Cha 10 Will 20 Mem 26
That's with implants, ofc. I can still add a couple points by training advanced learning skills to 5 and getting better implants.

24.2 all attributes except charisma, which is 17.6 Can still add 2.2 to each attribute (only L4 advanced learnings, only +4 implants).
Most skills (those that don't involve charisma) train therefore at 2178 SP/hour (19 mil SP/year).
Those without charisma, 1 mil SP comes in 19 days 3 hours 8 minutes. Those that have charisma secondary, 1 mil SP in 21 days 1 hour 3 minutes (1980 SP/hour) Those with charisma primary, 1 mil SP in 23 days 9 hours 10 minutes (1782 SP/hour). _ New char creation guide | Module/Rig stacknerfing explained |

Other skills are bad, because when I made this char early 2004 in a trial, I had no clue, how attributes in EVE work. One day I downloaded the trial , made this char and jumped into the action. I thought perception/willpower is for combat, charisma for leadership, rest is for carebear stuff.
But it's pointless anyway, I had several breaks and I'm far behind the SP I could have with this char. ( This has become my Raven/Covert Ops over time, got more chars, so doesn't really matter. He can already use/fly more than he needs in daily EVE life. ) ___________ 'Only ships can be assembled, this is a Frigate.' |

Ok I don;t get it. In 22 days of play i've accumulated about 500k SP. That with maybe 1 day total of no skill in the queue. When you guys started out you didn't learn that fast right? you're only quoting those numbers after increasing your learning ability and having implants?
That being said. Should learning be the first thing I train to level 5?
Although I kind of need other stuff.

Get the basic skills so you can fit a frigate, should take a day max. Then you can start doing lvl 1 missions while training up all basic learning skills to lvl 4. Then add some more fitting/ship skills, move to lvl 2-3 missions and get the advanced learning skills up to lvl 4.
If you decide to do nothing but learning skills the first month or two you will get extremely bored at spinning the ship in station not to mention you will have a hard time to afford the advanced learning skills for 4.5M ISK each.

Thanks, When you say level 4, is that Rank 4 or just rank 1 level4.
Right now i'm already in a cruiser, crushing level 1 missions, and I have trained Salvage a couple of levels because I think it's a great money maker. Already up to 30 million ISK. The basic learning skills are rank 1 for speedy learning, the advanced learning skills are rank 3 so will take 3 times as long to do. Your goal should be to push them all to level 4 in the end.

Honestly,i don't really care how fast i train anymore, since i've been playing the game for nearly 4 years now,and i'm not far off the seventy million skill point mark,so there's isn't a whole lot left in the fields i am interested in training anyhow....Worst case scenario, with the currently available skills in game,i figure i'm less than a year away from really nearly uber in every field relating to ships, fittings for various roles and weapons for all races.

Well, being the micromanaging spreadsheet nerd that we all are, I actually figured this out months ago. I have a sheet that calcualtes (among other thigns) one million skill points earned in [checks sheet] 19.22 days.
All Learning skills maxed except Presence 3 and Focus 4, sporting a set of +4s. The total above is weighted to reflect the average for training all skills left in the game for me to train, including the ranks of skills i have that haven't been attained.
Fastest train time is for Industry (2442 sp/hour) and slowest is for Leadership (1848 sp/hour)

But some of the new bloodlines can do better than this, i have an alt that train its best skills at 2805 SP / hour, that's 1m SP / only 14 days and 20 hours
Still, it would take that alt over 20 years to get more SP than on my main! -----
