For some reason no matter how long I wait sites will never load up on the in-game browser (even when I set them to trusted). The loading indicater just keeps going and going, but they never load up.
Whats wrong?

you're not using wine are you? i don't think wine has the mozilla http extensions that cedega uses to download the pages.
if you're using windows, sorry, can't help you there... it always worked fine for me in windows. --gordo |

Umm I'm using the IN-GAME browser, don't quite know what you are talking about....use Firefox for regular OUT-OF-GAME browsing.

does the little circle in the top right corver stop?. or continue. it can take long time to load a ingame site. some sites cant be showed, due to the build of the site.
Image gallery with some of the new ship models.

Nope never stops and never loads, have left it for 15 min + and can't even load google, yet the loading indicator never stops moving.

Quite often the trusted thing doesn't work for me either.
I have to go to the browser options and click trusted sites, and set it trusted that way and reload.
It's not often I'm wrong, apart from the comments I make in the signature, and then I'm often wrong. On the other hand maybe I'm getting confused. ......My head hurts :( |

Edited by: Talion Shar on 19/06/2007 12:28:07 depends on the webside code used, if its igb compatible you can access them.
its a html variation and with some searches you find some docu for that, here in forum too.
but think that's not the real answer you searching.
maybe you should try to clear your eve cache folder first (machonet) and then try again. also look that you don't got any of the sites you are trying to access on your blocked sites list.
edit: if you got in your X:\Eve\cache\Browser folder old bookmarks files pre-revelations you should also backup them in another folder and delete them after in the folder mentioned above. a re-login will create new files and you just need the old bookmarks then copy from the backup files into the igb ingame and add them again, so they will apply into your new bookmark list. (tried that just to copy and paste from file2file, but that didnt made it)
What you can do too, delete the ignoredSites.txt and the trustedSites.txt too, if your bookmarks are funtional in your igb. then try to reach the trusted site again, you will need to trust it again, but now it should work to access them.
btw: some background information of the "trusted site" of IGB. if you want to be anonymous... dont _trust_ em. there are some sql querys in, where a lot of informations of char, corp, alliance, location, (money?), age of char and a lot more getting leeched.
