It has been said before by many, but the message isn't getting through. Let's try again.
The fitting requirements of Remote Armor Repair Units and Remote Shield Transfer Arrays are plainly unbalanced. Observe, as an example:
Capital Remote Armor Repair Unit I: 150,000 PG, 40 CPU Capital Remote Shield Transfer Unit I: 75,000 PG, 175 CPU
The power grid requirements of the shield transfers are 1/2 that of the armor repaier, thus we might expect the CPU use of the armor repair unit to be 1/2 that of the shield transfer array. To our surprise and bewilderment, it is actually slightly more than 1/5 that value.
Stated conversely, capital remote shield transfer arrays use 4.375x the cpu of the armor reppers!
Observe how this impacts the archon and chimera respectively:
An Archon fitting one capital remote armor repairer uses up 19.3% of its base PG and 6.4% of its base CPU.
A Chimera fitting one capital remote shield transfer uses up 16.6% of its base PG and 22.5% of its base CPU.
The problems in fitting are similar for smaller versions of these modules.
Also of note is that remote armor reppers are 10% more cap efficient at the cost of a 5 second delay in their effect, and that armor tanks are vastly more common in PvP situations than shield tanks.
So given this, why should someone who hasn't trained for either yet choose to train shield transfers over remote armor reppers? |

Also, capital shield booster takes up 300 CPU.

Check the Caldari and caldari carrier threads. Same thing. It's either that Caldari are dedicated PvE or someone really loves ignoring this. The good thing is that armour tankers are whining about CPU now too

I haven't check SISI in the last 4-5 days, but AFAIK Chimera is still a peice of ****.
Needs more CPU, or reduce Capital Shield Booster and Transporter CPU requirements. FFS just have it the same as its Armor counterparts........................... ______
