Does anybody know why somebody put 3200 Shield boost Amps up for sale in Jita. At the current market volume that's going to take quite some time to clear.

Indeed, it is one of the best pyerite only compressed minerals item so it is useful to transport if you want to carry massive amount of pyerites only.

Fountain is a net producer of Pyerite and to some degree mex, it just builds up and builds up in rediculous quantities and it's not normally worth it to ship it out.
Xelas just got booted, so I know at least some of the corps there (me included) were compressing minerals like mad.
In the last 2 days (before I had to pack up my compression tower), I bought almost 100M pyer off fleeing locals for 0.5 per unit :)
That said, I went for armor hardeners because I had trit to compress as well.
But it wouldn't suprise me at all if there's an additional flood of pyer and mex appearing in the next few days as the Fountain stockpiles lands in one great stinking heap, on top of the regular selling off as the price drops.

I think he meant and expects that the nert be so hard that these ships switch to active tanking, increasing demand for amplifiers.
I think you are right in that its because of compressed pyerite however!

Can a shield booster run enough cycles on overheat for this to be an issue?
