This is my first (posted) vid, and it came about from the scraps of footage I found laying about my old computer when I recently upgraded. The fights in it are not the best I've been in, but unfortunately I have a tendency to forget to turn on fraps when there's good action to be had.
The quality is not very good, and this is something I'm going to need help with from the more proficient video makers out there. I use Sony Vegas 7.0, and I have tried rendering in many of the different types listed in the program. I even tried rendering with no compression, giving me a 40 gig file with the audio out of sync. Needless to say, I was disappointed after hours of waiting. So basically, what the hell am I doing wrong here? The fraps footage looks perfect, but rendering makes it all blurry. I do use Auto Gordian Knot to compress the file after rendering, but the quality difference there is marginal. The blurriness comes from rendering.

waa it makes me really sleepy, get more fights and speed them up at least. try more, i'll be waiting for next vid :)

Cool vid.
One piece of advice -- when you have war targets to shoot at in empire, it may be useful to alter your overview settings while in empire to not show neutrals. It looked like you were having a bit of trouble in the scorp fight locking the right ship (not uncommon in a high-lag environment, especially when being jammed) and having such problems can lead to concordokken if you're pre-activating your modules in anticipation of the lock. |

Yeah, I know. I generally do that in high population systems, but I didn't have a preset for it at the time of the fight, so I didn't want to risk anythig by brining up the overview settings.
Anyway, has anyone got any advice on how to make the quality better?

Nice vid mate. Especially liked the beginning and the last fight was pretty good =]
Only criticism, like other people say, learn to speed up clips, as it can soemtimes get boring at normal speed =]

Will certainly do that. This time I was actually more worried about getting those four songs in there. 
Anyway, noone who could tell me wtf to do with the quality? Pretty please?
