The rats must have engaged him beforehand. All i got off of him was a Cap Recharger II, an invulnerability field II, and an arbalest cruise launcher. Rest was even more crap.

Most players don't read the foruns and don't follow "the standard" setups posted. So most of them fit what they feel its apropriate to last against rats. For a PvPer is a crap fit, for them its good stuff, and not everyone is rich, some people buy the ship and use whatever they have to save some ISKs until they have saved enough to buy better mods. _______________________ What we have here is total lack of respect for the law...

This is the problem with piracy in eve, 90% of pirates can't see past how many points they're going to get on a killboard for killing that faction BS. I wasnt pirating, i was flying home and saw a target of oppertunity. Im a frackin myrmidon. I was scared to death engaging a rattlesnake and I thought i`d loose my myrmidon but since i'd never fought a rattlesnake i thought it would be worth it.

After a bit of baiting one of them got agro somehow, so we terminated his retriever. After that I noticed a raven warping around the belts with corp agro. Since I was in my battle itty, I didn't engage and called the guys in. Once they started attacking I gave the raven hell from my neutron blaster. When the scrap cooled down, we check the wreck to find it contained scordite. That's it. No fittings on the KM either. So this dude came back to collect ore in an UNFITTED raven, and was warping through the belts. -- Achura, the best stats. Pity it had to be caldari. Gallente 4tw.

Many, many, many years ago when I used to mine I let little spawns just shoot away at me in my mining Apoc (we used to call them pets) and passive tank them. It's not hard to be able to sit there for hours and let a few frigate rats tickle your shields why you mine in a BS. This was more reliable than killing them and trying to kill the next spawn that came in and could be slightly worse and which allways seemed to pop your harvester drones before they turned their attention onto you.
