When you do cosmos missions you sometimes get BPCs as a reward. Is this random, or do certain missions give out a certain BPC? For example 'Slither' Heavy Electron, which I am looking for where to find |

Hey..
As far as I can tell, these are random.
I have a few, they require a lot of "ingredients" that I could not find back when I was first trying to build them, though this reminds me that I should take a look now and see if any of that stuff is available. Those mods would be worth a lot on the market.

Completely random. Did COSMOS missions with 3 friends. We all did the same missions together and although the "mission" itself was the same, the BPCs at the end were all for different items. although, the number of runs were the same.

some of the items say 250mm flintlock railgun I is worse then a 250mil prototype railgun I (well the 250mm flintlock has lower power grid need)
and then there is the smokescreen cloak II which is better then the covert ops cloak.
that and they require some funky build skills.
and i have no clue on how getting them works, the ones i got weren't really all that great.

Most of the items appear to have lower requirements to fit, but mid level capabilities. Great for new characters, but these characters won't have the skills to make them, so I don't really see their purpose at all.

All of the special materials fro the Cosmos bpc:s are collectable in diffrent plexes in the Cosmos region.
The use on an Analyzer is needed.
These plexes usually have a really high respawn rate.
In Amarr Cosmos there is
2 BS
6 Cruisers
4 (jammer)Frigs.
These respawn about every 4 minutes....(good for salvage)
